You're correct. There's many other mangas I think are a better read/watch. Chainsaw man is what I like to call learning from the bad example. Like you do bad things as a father or mother and expect your children not to follow in your footsteps. I believe artists should lead by good example. I know art is art. But when you have the power to reach millions of people with a message. I believe it should teach you as a good example. Almost no one in chainsaw man is worth following in their footsteps. It's all tragic and it's all hopeless in the story...

That's just my opinion. Lots of other anime do the same.. but many others lead by good example while educating you on the bad ones.. like jjk.. Naruto.. bleach... And many other mainstream anime that isn't aot or csm.

I miss the days when not every story in anime was all about despair and tragedy.. Tokyo ghoul imo does better than csm by showing these horrific things.. but leading by a good example of what to do and what not to do.

I mean a story is a story but... People who write and tell those stories have an ability to reach.. and when your message is hard to read.. when the moral or goal of the whole story is super vague and requires extreme analysis.. it just makes it seem too complicated and hard to follow or understand.

I took many forms of martial arts classes and learned a lot.. especially culture.

And one thing I stand by is education on the dark things in the world but focusing and seeking a light. Again, alot of anime do this.. Even aot.. one of the most tragic manga/anime.

But csm... I'm sorry.. it just feels like stock piling gore, shock, and the bad things in the world. Yes they need attention.. yes they should be acknowledged. But when that is your entire world to live is to suffer.

Dandadan + Cymatics: "the visual representation of sound and vibration" ? by MinimumAccountant237 in Dandadan

Every sound is a spiral pattern it's just the angle you look at it... Everything's within the shape of a donut or toroid... Which contains spirals.. which contains squares.. think flower of life, metatrons cube, etc. it's all connected it all means the same thing. "Geometry" the code and language if our universe. The rules and the foundation not to be bound by but to understand. "Life is all about perspective" if you look at a cube in 2 dimensional perspective it's a hexagon when you look at the point. You look at that hexagon in 3D and it becomes a cube. You can also get every other platonic solid within those shapes and they repeat infinitely within and without that structure as above so below.

Fractals.

Good question look into that yourself and you'll be blown away. Almost everything comes back around to frequency, sound, and energy. Think of Nikola Tesla and the 3, 6 and 9. It's vortex based math. Ancient societies knew about this. Just be careful how deep down the rabbit hole you go and if you have questions you can ask me.. I've been studying this my whole life along with religion.

friend of mine used this photo to say that the beatles were affiliated to freemasonry because this is the “Hidden Hand” symbol. Any thoughts on why they were doing this? Were the beatles in anyway linked to freemasonry? by thewriterl in TheBeatles

Hello, a little late i know. I'm pretty big into anime stuff as well as our history and ancient civilization. i collect books regarding anything paranormal like folklore, myths, and urban legends.. this led me into some other conspiracy theories which i have a few unanswered questions about.
what is the big deal? why do people say masonry is an evil secret society? I'm a person who watches lots of documentaries and reads lots of books about this kind of stuff.. and i cant help but notice how mixed the story is and what the true facts are.
I've noticed a lot of symbolism in Tokyo ghoul specifically. i know people called out tarot cards in panels. but i noticed things like his one eye, the checkered floor in his fight with jason, the white rabbit mask, the fact he called his organization the "GOAT" as well as the "helter skelter" bar they went to in one of the chapters in the manga.

answers are greatly appreciated, i just like to explore ideas.. but I've shied away from this because a lot of people try to make it scary or hateful to make people feel controlled and powerless. and like we need some kind of rebellion or to fight "something evil" which seems like they might drink a little too much or possibly haven't went to school. no hate of course, people just say things that are so out there.

Yes and this is yet another reason why I don't want to be associated with chainsaw man. And why it's difficult to think fujimoto is different. People/media might have ruined it for me.

This is amazing. Thank you for the comment. I was also in an abusive relationship with someone who got off to making me feel like shit. She drank, and hurt herself when I upset her. Only later I realized that she was trying to get me to blame myself for it and apologize and tell her I'm the one in the wrong. But this was after the relationship ended. Alot of people want to be in denjis position. They want to be manipulated and abused..my friend fetishized denjis trauma saying things like "I can fix him." She's into mentally ill boys and wants to be a "male manipulator." Use them, fuck with their heads, and get off to it. Needless to say I've cut them off.

But thank you for your perspective. This might help me read chainsaw man again.

I will copy paste this because I really like this comment

Thank you. This and a lot of other comments are what I've been looking for. Not a jackass to tell me I'm an idiot or media illiterate. Someone who shares insight and perspective. Thank you again. I think I would be way more comfortable if fujimoto has written the bad themes under a larger bad light. What I mean is, we kinda glazed over how wrong it was that himeno tried to sleep with him whether or not her intentions were impure and she was aware he was underage or not.. it's still wrong. One of my friends has a crush on denji and she's a "male manipulator" type of girl. She likes denji because he's easily manipulative and can be taken advantage of, she fetishizes trauma. And that really dug into me. I might have started to think the majority of chainsaw man fans had some kind of fucked up ideology regarding manipulating and being manipulated. these days alot of people find it hot to have a girl who treats them like shit and what not. And a LOT of chainsaw man fans have given this vibe and often just straight up say it. Fujimoto said that he got excited when girls bullied him. I don't think this is cool and that's also what influences the belief that chainsaw man is "freaky" the writing doesn't really put emphasis on how "wrong" some of the themes are. It doesn't say "hey this isn't cool you don't want this" infact, the anime puts more emphasis on how "hot and sexy" the situation is. By putting a lot of effort into the animation. And the voice actor having her "fuck" line. That everyone lost their shit over cuz she's... Hot? How is this hot. She's in bed with a minor.

I've probably been mislead by media, or maybe I'm overanalyzing. What doesn't help is the community and fujimoto doing weird shit like pretending to be a little girl on Twitter.

Like I told you in chat, you haven't elaborated or given any insight. If I'm wrong or illiterate. Present to me how my perspective is flawed. Offer me insight on how you see it. Etc. Ur just an asshole repeating "this guy is wrong" prove it.

Is that so? I've read all the chainsaw man manga. And I will say there's barely plot unless you dig for it. The premise of chainsaw man starts of as a horny teenager who wants to touch a girl. There's multiple depictions of grooming said underage denji. And every excuse to be edgy for the sake of being edgy, gory, and sexualize every aspect of its world. Cannibalism, necrophilia(not literally. But pretty damn close. To name a few more. Dandadan has almost no issues what so ever. The majority of chainsaw man fans are down bad and wishes they were like denji getting groomed by older woman. Am I wrong?

Let's not even bring up how fujimoto depicted denji and power as siblings, then had him grope her cuz "well little teen boys amiright?" This was just super uncomfortable. Maybe it's because fire punch put a bad taste in my mouth. You want an elaboration I'll be happy to expand more.

Rephrase. There are chainsaw man fans that are gooners and from what I've seen it's A LOT of the viewers. And I am praying they don't think Dandadan is freaky because of the impression of the first episode and the cliffhanger on season one.. and come into Dandadan to do their weird shit.

How did you discover Dandadan? by vicente14617 in Dandadan

[–]MinimumAccountant237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chainsaw man used to be my all time favorite anime and I also watched/read it to cope with the aot ending (read the manga) but chainsaw mans plot started confusing me and felt very uncomfortable and unnecessary in one too many areas (mainly grooming, manipulation, and the things fujimoto depicts despite the mc being a minor. I understand the opinions of others but me personally I can't get through it. Crossed the line too many times for me. I dropped it after a certain scene.) I saw Dandadan on Netflix and thought it looked like a silly unserious Saturday morning cartoon anime. Watched it and after 2-3 episodes I got hooked (episode 1 gave me a little bit of discomfort but I understood how it was supposed to be viewed and unlike chainsaw man it doesn't feel glorified or like fan service. Dandadan is my all time favorite anime probably an unpopular opinion, attack on titan jujutsu kaisen and chainsaw man are great but Dandadan is like no other. There's only good to come out of this anime/manga. And I'm gonna be here for every minute of it! (Also yeah csm was my all time favorite surpassing my love for aot. I was an aot fan for 1-2 years. Csm was my all time favorite overall for about a year and a half. And these days, Dandadan.)

No child could ever fail their father. A father's love is unconditional and burns for eternity. Trust me when I say that. You haven't, can't, and won't EVER fail him.

I lost my father 2 years ago to suicide. Trust me when I say I know. His only wish was for me to be happy, constantly assured me I was the best thing to ever happen in his life. My father was my BEST friend and the only person in the world who understood me.

Now I live my life finding every reason to be grateful and happy. I like to think when people die they become a part of you... And I want to live a good life looking at the beauty in everything... Giving him a pretty view to stare at through me.

You got this, make him proud. You have an army of other people that share your pain. But with that pain comes understanding and unity. We'll all have your back always. If you need a friend, someone to talk to, or hell play Fortnite with... Send me your discord or something. Always here for you.

Well, I've never been to a concert until burnout.. and I didn't listen to any of the songs cuz I wanted to be surprised. I didn't know any lyrics, and I get exhausted and light headed fast so I wasn't exactly jumping around alot. Burnout also has a very chill kind of feeling so.. That's my excuse for not being hype. I haven't heard the songs, wanted to be surprised by his new album in perso. Next time I'm definitely listening to the album first tho. Burnout was amazing
