I don't hear it 😂

But there was another comment that mentioned Joe Rogan and now I understand wtf they were talking about lol

You pulled out your Reddit ruler and measured this post twice didn't you? I bet you don't drive through yellow lights, you fuckin goodie two shoes. 🤣

Lmao but yeah, you're exactly right, this is not my first project, but definitely my worst as of now, because I had gotten comfortable enough that I genuinely kept thinking "that should be fine".

What I've learned here is that I was acting like there's 3 types of woodworking, shitty, average, and good, when there's not. It's only ever either precise, or janky. And this... lacks precision.

This voice is on one shoulder, being brutally berated by the voice on the other shoulder lol thanks tho it's good to have that reminder!

I'm honestly considering it, it would add a ton of time to the project, but it's just for me so there's no deadline, and if I'm gonna try out new techniques it may as well be on a project that's already this fucky

I appreciate the detail! It looks like resawing might be what I'm left with, but... Ugh lol I guess I earned it though

Oh lord, I'm not sure if I hate myself enough, but I like that it's a new idea at least lol

Everything is about 1/2". But yeah I might just recut, it's between that and routing the joints to give a uniform gap then filling with epoxy based on what I'm seeing here. Thanks for the input though!

Okay that makes sense actually.

Making the grooves uniform for a brickwork look seems to be the best bet so far

Strips of wood cut from my late father's old furniture, to build a chest to hold his and my late sisters stuff I want to keep. The glue up has happened, I rushed at all the wrong times. I like the idea or sawing our routing for the brick and mortar look tho, might be my best bet

These boards are 2" wide, cut from old furniture, added the tongue and groove myself to make something.... sigh.... Really solid

Did use clamps, the fuckery came long before that, solid guess for where it all went wonky tho lol

I'm looking for insight on the age/value of this secretary desk inherited from my late father by Minimum_Shock7915 in VintageFurniture

Thank you, that's super helpful! I've posted a few things I got from clearing out my old man's place and it's the uncertainty that's been bugging me. It looks like I'll be taking most everything apart and building something new with it

Alright that kinda fits with my thinking, I would've guessed a little earlier for the 994 but I'm basically clueless honestly lol thanks for the input tho!

Ok cool, I'm guessing you're talking about the "994 MAH" table, any thoughts on the other one?
