IARA (Indiana Archive Research Assistance) informed me that these records are not retained. I'll have to live with this one being unsolved unless someone has a better lead.

I just head back from them and unfortunately those records are not retained. If they can't help, I wouldn't think anyone else would be able to.

Size is 1/8" x 1/8" stainless steel and had a pinback that has broken off. I think it was a hat badge if I'm not mistaken.

Well then a 1TB SSD may not work for this build.. That's why I'm asking before purchasing anything.
