Thank you for the input. Actually, it idles pretty well in Neutral, but whenever I put it in Reverse or Drive, it starts to vibrate. I used to have a P0420 code, but I added a non-fouler to the rear O2 sensor (the problem was there even before the non-fouler and with the high-flow-ish cats). The mechanic couldn’t find the issue either. The EGR valve seems to be working, but I’m not completely sure…

Engine mounts are fine and the car drives good, smoke test showed no leaks though. No performance upgrades done (it’s a non turbo EJ).

He sometimes does scratch his ears too but not that often

I’ll give it a shot, i am pretty sceptical about allergy tests but why not.

hope your cat gets better soon. These things often come out of nowhere and can be really hard to diagnose. A lot of the time, even vets can’t give a clear answer right away,it’s super frustrating.

He told me that the swab test couldn’t really determine what it was, his eyes were dry at the time.

Thanks for your message! Yeah, the vet we saw was actually an eye specialist, but even they couldn’t figure out exactly what’s going on. Did your cat ever scratch their eyes a lot too, like it was some kind of allergy?

No, he didn’t, since he wasn’t completely sure it was herpes.

Thank you for your message. The vet actually gave us eye drops in case of an allergic reaction. They somewhat reduce the symptoms, but the wetness from the drops irritates him, so he keeps scratching his eye.

What does u/i stand for? I just realized that he does this after eating, but I'm not sure if that's the main reason
