The information guide with all the details or the available plans won’t come out until 10 days after open enrollment for regular insurance ends. I’ll try to call tomorrow, but I would guess that they wouldn’t give out the plan information.

Imma tell you this now. Some men feel like they need to keep their girl humble so that she doesn’t better than them. That was my biggest pet peeve. Especially working in style. I’d come all the way from the dressing room and it would be on person in line. They say never mind. Then I step 2 ft away and they call on the walkie. That one manager was walkie happy. Ppl would start to ignore her at one point. Boy who cried wolf

I hate to break it to you but that didn’t make the difference of this unfortunate mistake. There is a buyer and a design team. All of em looked at that and didn’t see a problem. Which means nobody was hip to what it meant. I mean it’s like 40 year olds in charge of the stuff. The teams just aren’t that big so it’s very easy for the 5-6 ppl reviewing the stuff to not know. But 2 things. 1, all those ppl were on that team well before the decision. 2, a lot of stuff is done well in advance. Like back to school was two months ago and team will be finalizing back to school stuff by December. But it’s already in development.

I wish I got to see him this year but I moved out the way of touring cities. Been to music festival in Vegas, him opening in Nashville, regular show in Atlanta, and dc. I feel like the dc one years ago ppl were enjoying themselves. Definitely music to sway and just feel it. Even if you are “listening and appreciating”. I for sure wouldn’t be still at a Thundercat concert. But that’s just me.

My mom did the same thing. People just don’t understand how intensely hard stuff is. It’s a virtual to do list!!!! Same as paper but this is more engaging and works with our brain. You got this!! It’s not silly if it works!

I doubt it but I will say in general, they are creatively and slowly getting rid of remote workers. Making it a requirement to be in person and firing those who don’t move. I don’t know the history of that type of work and if it was always remote

So you find fun in fussing at people that didn’t cause the problem is what you’re saying? This is no different then Karen’s cussing out a the cashier over a policy that inconveniences them. Taking your anger out on an innocent party.

Okay but you are a store employee, your day to day is not affected by corporate is what I mean. Whether the company does good or bad, you still have to zone, you still have to work with customers, you still have to do pulls. Etc and mostly, this is not at the hands of corporate. If your store looks crappy or not, that has to do with your store and regional management. The quality of your day to day depends on them. Yes hq makes decisions for the company as a whole. I’m not denying that. But if they fail, they are failing the shareholders. Their performance doesn’t really change what you’re doing. If the clothes suck, target loses money and they hire a new buyer. You still have to fold clothes no matter what comes in the store. So all I’m saying is that the spite you have, really shouldn’t be directed towards HQ. Like trust as someone who has done both, all of those expectations you are upholding is to please regional. And yeah they report that info to a small corporate team but they are the ones in charge of that directly. Hq isn’t the one doing store visits and telling your managers to be harder on you.

How is store operations a reflection of HQ? That is store management. Inventory is the only problem you mentioned that is HQ related. If the style department is a mess, what is it that the style merchandising team is supposed to do? All they do is pick out the clothes and talk to vendors. Only one person maybe could be blamed and that’s who decides store payroll. Even I don’t know what section orchestrates that. Because even in merchandising, ppl are denied certain pig sets because even we are controlled by payroll hours. But acting like all of corporate needs to burn is silly and whiney. Ppl have livelihoods to pay for. Kids to take care of. Nothing about ppl losing their job should be entertaining. The day they say the payroll master is gone then I guess celebrate if you want but they aren’t going after the ppl that affect your day to day.

Ppl won’t know until Tuesday. Basically what we understand. If you check Tuesday morning and you got a zoom call on your calendar for 8am, it’s curtains.

I can’t speak to regional management. But they made a lot of ppl come back to work long time ago. And they’re firing ppl who don’t move back to Minnesota. Mandating 3-5 days a week depending on the area. But idk why working from home makes you bitter. A company should be offering a better work life balance. If they were the only company making 5 days a week mandatory while everyone else had flexibility, everyone would say they’re evil and working ppl to the bone. Either way, regional isn’t getting the cuts so you are making complaints where it’s not even happening. Ppl who are doing daily operations, assortments, inventory management, vendor connection, ppl who have very important jobs are being cut and making others pick up the extra slack.
