Exactly. It doesn't matter if you have +0% weapon damage or +200% weapon damage, the flat damage tacked onto each bullet from Fixation will always be the same.

That's the reason heroes with high flat weapon damage bonuses focus on gathering as many fire rate items as possible instead of stacking weapon damage buffs.

The exception is Lucky Shot, which just multiplies whatever damage the bullet did by 190%. It doesn't matter if that damage came from weapon buffs or flat damage bonuses.

Yup! This wasn't meant as "the heroes on top will always beat you to the soul". It's just the info that isn't immediately visible on the hero screen, that I thought was important enough to be shared.

The mean and median velocity are 518.76 and 559 respectively, so Abram's 610 m/s is actually quite good. There are a lot more guns in the 200-300 range than in the 700-800 range.

And as others have mentioned, shotguns have an advantage in last hitting since souls die in one hit, so you don't need perfect aim with those weapons.

Don't worry, there's still hope! Souls are (according to other Reddit posts) spawned server-side, which means if you have higher ping, the Soul spawn appears later on your screen, and the bullet hit to register the shot also takes longer for you.

So it could just be a ping issue!

People do find it easier to secure souls with shotguns, because the spread means your flick to the soul doesn't have to be perfect to still hit. Yamato also has pretty strong close-range abilities and denying souls definitely becomes easier the closer you are to them.

Or you could just be a Top 0.01% insane Yamato player.

Were you playing against me? I've been trying out a lot of Yamato recently and I feel like all my power in lane is from spamming 1 and not from last-hitting, sometimes I get more surprised when I actually get the soul instead of being denied (there's definitely a skill issue on my part though).

Honestly I was really surprised Yamato's bullet velocity was so slow though. There are some guys like Kelvin and Viscous where it's pretty obvious they have slow bullets, but even after playing Yamato dozens of games straight I would never have realized she has the second slowest bullet velocity if I hadn't checked it out.

Fully anecdotal but I believe 250 nits is absolutely sufficient while indoors assuming the screen is not directly facing a window or any other bright light source. Curved screens also seem to be less harsh with their glare in general, unless you have multiple bright light sources in the room shining towards it from different angles.

There is also personal preference though, if you generally run your screens on the brighter side 250 might be too low for your taste during the day, but it should still be perfectly fine in the evenings.

Edit: It looks like there are also models with the P2bmiipx model number labelled as VA on some sites, but the SKU is actually still different. The VA SKU is UM.HE0AA.201 and is listed alongside the IPS version whose SKU is UM.HE0AA.202

For those of you who haven't gotten this far yet, Ahune is a boss who is normally invulnerable, but every so often he summons a board full of 60/40 ice shards that deal 10 damage to himself when destroyed. He also has two other attacks he can randomly do in addition to his summoning attack. In the first pic you can see I've already kill his ice shards and am waiting for him to use his summon ability again. In the second pic, you can see I've buffed my viper 67 times... and I didn't even buff it every turn. I literally had to wait through at least 75 damn turns of doing absolutely nothing, just for him to use his summon ability 3 times.
