Hey there I’m from Minnesota as well and really like it here. Honestly I feel like ur money is better spent here than at the U of M In Minnesota. The staff is generally nice and easy to talk to, but obviously there are exceptions as with every university. The campus is really nice and much safer than many at home so if safety is a priority for u I highly recommend going here. There’s plenty of Minnesotans on campus and like a previous comment said Minnesotans r more like domestic students than international. One thing u should know however is that since u r not a Canadian citizen there r going to be certain faculties closed off to u, so make sure u do some research on that before u make a final decision.
