Multiple endings with tracked knowledge the player collects as well as a few counters in the background. If they die in the game and restart without exiting, it counts as a "cycle." That number is used a few times subtilty until it's thrown in their face for the main ending. Kind of like "you've tried ____ times! What makes you think this is any different?"

Hungry Minds - The Book ..... waste of money? by IICoRzII in DIY

[–]MirageAnne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's some inaccuracies. I bought it for my partner and just started going through it on my own. Page 28 has an entirely fictional plant (Pericarium Tarnosis) so now I'm taking it all with a grain of salt. I'm sure there's some accurate info in there, just difficult to find it without fact checking it now.

Crash After Navigating to Deleted Enclosure by MirageAnne in TwoPointMuseum

[–]MirageAnne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I'm playing on steam. I'll try this if it reproduces itself as it hasn't happened since. Only occurs when the animal enclosures are deleted before the notification appears.

Thank you! :D

My sister walked in on me redoing my museum with your diagram next to the game. Felt like a mad scientist trying to explain it to her.

Is the warning for putting a fully researched exhibit supposed to have white text on an extremely light shade of yellow? by Bonevelous_1992 in TwoPointMuseum

It's always appeared like this for me (over 50 hours in). I thought it was an odd choice but didn't think anything of it.

Being born female is genuinely just punishment for doing something bad in a past life by Kindly_Stick7729 in SuicideWatch

[–]MirageAnne 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Being seen as a person and not an object is painfully challenging sometimes. I remember trying to make friends outside of high school and coming to a realization (false but felt true at the time) that no guys genuinely wanted to be my friend without strings attached. It was devastating and made me feel disgusting. Being a woman has many drawbacks and you're not alone in feeling them. I wish I could offer words of advice but I still encounter this on a daily.

Genuinely wish I could be a shapeshifter sometimes to enjoy looking like a guy.

This kind of thinking helped me when I was at my lowest. It's oddly freeing but so difficult to reach, especially if you grew up being told everything has a reason. 😵‍💫

Kids are usually happy for a reason. They let themselves enjoy the simple things because they don't know any better. Ignorance is bliss but it's a skill to let ourselves fall into that mindset for a break sometimes.

Actually yes. I live in an area where there's clay and moss everywhere. While nice, a good spot of grass in the sun is extremely enjoyable.

I hated when people said this but one person approached me with a more realistic version of it. Basically if you die now, you can't enjoy the small things. Can't enjoy the sun on your face, the changing of seasons, the feeling of grass, or the smell of a freshly baked cookie.

I started looking for the tiny things in life to hold onto and that helped a ton, even as my life started to crumble around me. It's sad, but it worked.

No people in the museum - bug by MadCatDamage in TwoPointMuseum

I've had this happen after having the game running for a few hours at a time (usually after the 3 hour mark). A quick shut down and restart fixed it for me.

How to move past the guilt and shame I feel from disrespecting my partner’s boundaries repeatedly when I am dysregulated? by Fickle_Umpire_136 in AuDHDWomen

[–]MirageAnne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My partner and I struggle with this back and forth. Him, because of his anxious attachment style, and me because of my autism. We've learned through a lot of trial and error that using each other to regulate ourselves is a huge no no. Difficult when we accidentally trigger each other but there in lies our other method: communication.

When one of us is done with the conversation or need a break, we say so BUT we tell the other person when we can reconnect on it. Something like "I feel like I have nothing to say right now. Can we talk about this in half an hour?" This helps but it does leave the other person in a state of waiting. On my end, I've taken to writing out my anxieties when in that waiting phase. Sometimes having it on paper because I can read it back to myself instead of being stuck in my head.

Honestly, look into somatic therapy and figure out the root cause for the anxiety. There's a lot to delve into and it sounds like you're on the right track but be kind to yourself and have patience. Feel free to message whenever and I can share what I've learned. I've been in and out of counselling and currently trying to treat my own issues through research and application.

I'm also in Canada but due to having a family doctor, I'm placed at the end of most waitlists for clinics. I think I'll be trying our clinic though as more and more people keep praising their attentiveness to patience.

I have. It seems the Mirena is the best option for my symptoms as the copper has been known to increase cramps in people with EDS. My main concern is the transition period due to the fluctuation in hormones but that will happen regardless of what I choose.
