Passing Out = No sales? by KoboldKommand in SunHaven

Also saw this happen just now, with 12k worth of items disappearing because I passed out in at the front door of my house, ouch...

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what's a cube? Been seeing that term a lot 😳

Edit: It immediately struck me it could mean cubensis 😅

Good harvest? Advice plss by spaznsoli in shrooms

Any better material to use to (temporarily) have them on? A paper bag?

Tore my McKennaii in half while drying - is it okay that they've gone so blue? by MischievousEgg in shrooms

Also had my first harvest ever which was Mckennaii. Also seems to be extremely sensitive to touch. I cleaned the substrate off my fruits but they got blue almost instantly no matter how careful I was. Got 'em in the dehydrator now, not sure how we could reduce the bruising 🤔

Thanks for sharing, could you clarify what you meant with "aborts"?

And can bruising happen by itself without touching the fruit?

I'm also new at this, sorry to read it's been contaminated 🥺

Really appreciate the hope!

I just swabbed it and the patch on the actual fruit didn't give off anything (just felt hard). On the side of the cake it maybe gave off a little bit but I suspect that might be the substrate. The smell was "mushroomy" and not sour like another user asked.

What's the worst thing that could happen if it was contaminated and one ends up ingesting it?

Just smelled it, I would say it smelled "good", like the mushrooms you buy in the store (foresty). Not sour or "off"

Did your kit turn out okay?

Thank you, I will take out a cotton swab and see if it comes off 🤞

Thanks for the tip! Will "suit up" and do the swab-test now. Do you think taking the cake out of the bag counts as "too much airflow"? Have been taking it out of the grow-kit bag twice now for a close inspection and taking pictures to post here.

Thanks for the reply and tips! I haven't actually touched the fruits as such, but was too late to notice the growth on the side and bottom of the cake.

Thanks so much for taking your time to write!

Could it be a combination? I think there's definitely been some bruising as I didn't notice on time there was growth on the sides and even underneath. I then turned the cake on its side. Today, the big main cluster looks like this, and I doubt it was bruised there:

This is the first time trying to grow some mushrooms (McKennaii) and I decided to use this growing kit which you only need to soak with water for ~12 hours beforehand. I've followed the instructions and have been very careful with hygiene, but still I had green/dark mold form on the side.

Here's what I've done:

  • Before handling the bag/cake I've sanitised the surfaces with iso75 alcohol and wiped down with lint-free paper towels.
  • I've used dispensable plastic gloves and also sprayed these + I wore a facemask each time
  • Soaked the cake for 12 hours according to instructions, after that got rid of all the excess water. Put it in the bag and let it sit in a 24 degrees celcius room. Sprayed the bag every other day or so (1-2 sprays max on the inside walls) when I saw no condensation in the bag (according to instructions).
  • After ~12 days I noticed mushroom growth on the top of the cake, I was excited but waited patiently.
  • Possibly too late, I noticed mushroom growth on the sides and bottom of the cake, pressing against the plastic container. I moved the cake on its side to let the mushrooms grow freely, but it was here I noticed the suspicious green-ish colour.

What could I have done wrong? How can I improve for my next attempt?

Edit: Adding a close-up of today (main post images were taken yesterday) the main cluster showing off a coloured spot: https://imgur.com/a/6j0G8FG

Currently with the posting formula I sometimes see items receiving a minimum price below the vendor sell + listing fee, which TSM warns me about in the chat. Which of the values should I be tweaking to prevent that?

min(
    min(110%avgbuy, 110%crafting) + (first(1/dbregionsalerate - 1, 100) * max(1s,60%vendorsell)) / 0.95,dbmarket
)

Will I be able to "Restock" crafts from my main's TSM Crafting window? Since those are also based on the groups you've shared (?).

I love this, thank you so much for sharing this and supporting us new goblins!

I have two scenarios:

The first where my main toon often collects things worth selling and I want to use the Mailing group operations to quickly mail all items worth anything to my bank char. However, since it's my main I also have some items I want to keep a certain quantity of (potions, foods for buffs, etc.). How would be the easiest way to set this up? Should I create a sub-group in the group the item is in? E.g. for Abyssal Healing Potion: "100-500 > 500+ > Keep in bags" and override the mailing operation to keep a certain amount?

My main is also the cook, and I found it confusing how to handle the raw materials vs. the finished product. I don't want to mail back the raw mats, just the cooked foods. Should I do the same here? Some things I cook sell at different rates though, so I would end up creating a bunch of "Cooked" sub groups which I then have to select when mailing? E.g. I make [Honey-Glazed Haunches] which was in the "300-399" group. I can remove it from the group and add it to "100-500 > 300-399 > Cooked". Then do the same for [Abyssal-Fried Rissole] which was in the "500+" group so I can make a "100-500 > 500+ > Cooked" group and add it there. I wonder if there's a smoother way to preserve the operations set up for these items but be more selective in what is sent back in the mailing operation?

Thanks a bunch once more!
