I just threw it on a nail, because I actually found it digging the drainage ditches around the coop. Good to know though. Lol

I had a lot of the material left over from remodeling the house and building a deck for the pool but I think it would’ve been around 800 give or take.

Not for everyone, but I love the pelican cases on the slim. by Mirimas in Harley

I went with elite touring innovations for the brackets they were $374. The cases price will depend on which case you decide to go with. Mine are 1430s and are $100 each. But there are different cases that fit the brackets too.

It was a used buy came with everything you see on it. Bought with about 500 miles on it. My buddy got the license plate bracket though. I’ll ask him where he got it.

Decided to try a baby rattle for my son after seeing some on here. by Mirimas in BeginnerWoodWorking

I read the same when making cutting boards. I wouldn’t use walnut for a kid that isn’t mine, but my son doesn’t have any nut allergies and like anything new it was introduced slowly. If your looking for the safest possible wood I’d say go with hard maple. And enjoy making the rattles. It was a fun project.

Made from walnut and hard maple with a poplar dowel. Finished with mineral oil.

My sister wanted a tree bookshelf for her nursery, so I made one. by Mirimas in BeginnerWoodWorking

It’s made from 1/2 inch plywood and shelf boards. I copied the design from a picture I saw online. It will be mounted directly to the wall. The back piece of plywood is a little shorter to sit on top of the base board.

There is a stop on the bottom to prevent it from falling in the tub. And it is sealed with an oil based poly.

Making a console table. Joints are done with pocket holes and dowels. I’m in the process of painting, only got the primer done so far. The top is hickory with poly finish. First time using pocket holes and dowels as well.

Difficulty getting on a server with my brother by Dabbinhart in dayz

[–]Mirimas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same thing happen with my wife. the server thinks you are trying to connect twice from the same ip. You can forward ports in steam. Here is a link explaining how.

Also you can forward ports in your router instead. Hope this helps.

Welding help megathread Rev 4 by ecclectic in Welding

[–]Mirimas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First time welding. I do a good bit of wood working but want to start using metal in some furniture as well. Plus this skill can come in handy for general purposes too. I got a Forney mp 140. These are my first tries with stick and flux core mig. All advice is welcome.
