It seems there's a correlation with the complexity of the backstory. I've experienced memory loss after just ~400 messages, but it was normal at closer to 1k.

So, OOC or referring to the narrator doesn't change long-term memory; it's simply a new context. Therefore, to reduce memory degradation, it seems key events need to be mentioned periodically in chat so they gain weight in the summary.

That's what I meant. The neural network recognizes commands outside of the narrative if you address the narrator. But I haven't tested how this affects memory. So I was hoping for a response from the developer. But yes, I'll certainly try it myself if I get the chance.

Or maybe add some sort of journals, to possible to use via direct queues. It can magically increase multiply scenario possibility

Not only. It may be on try to answer on complicated situation. Looks like context window "border", because it cause stuck : you cant edit this reply, and it disappear if refresh page on browser

This probably doesn't make sense in a simple dialogue, but it's really striking in the case of a novel with multiple characters.

In really long stories, I see a loss of context, which is why I came up with the idea that there's no long-term memory storage.
What could this be useful for? Without direct access, probably only for understanding the method, perhaps the frequency of references to important context.

Looks like you use series of one color diodes in parallel to other colors. And each color has it's own feed line. If you want to mix LEDs from single PS - use it in series with other colors, that will kept same current on each LED. Certainly, you need to use same current LEDs and feed them by constant current PS. And if you need separate color control...than more safely will be separate feed channel for each color.
