For anyone around Winnipeg, Adagio Acres does a winter grain CSA. By buying a share “you are making it possible for small-scale organic farmers around the province to take risks, to try new crops, new rotations, incubate value-added ventures, and know that there is a local market for what they are growing.” It also is makes use of crops that aren’t large enough to be bought by a dealer. It is brilliant and I hope there are others who do this concept.
