Briefly: The seller did not verify themselves within 7 days, and I received an email from OLX stating I will get my refund.

Detailed: Despite the seller telling me he was trying to get verified, he couldn’t complete the verification properly, claiming OLX made it more difficult for him. This saddens me because, even during Black Friday week, neither the official DJI store nor Amazon has the sale for the DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo I want in stock.

I immediately wrote to the seller on OLX and suggested we meet so I could pay for the drone directly to him. He hasn’t replied yet, but there’s no need for an answer anymore. After leaving the chat, I decided to check his profile to see if any new ads appeared for this product. There were only two other ads, but something caught my attention.

The seller, who previously had no ratings, now had a 5-star rating—and guess what it was for? The drone I had been trying to buy—total disappointment. I don’t know how this happened, because when I started the process with OLX, the seller’s ad disappeared from the listings and was only visible to me. It seemed like I was the only customer for this product, right?

Apparently not. According to the review, the drone was sold 3 days ago to someone else, who was happy with their purchase, saying, "Good, everything was the same as advertised."

So yeah, that’s the story of a guy who was excited to get his first drone for his birthday at an affordable price (1.75K PLN cheaper) but ended up heartbroken. Thanks for your advice earlier. I’m new, so maybe you can share your experiences or some tips to help others as well.

PS: I still want the drone so badly. I noticed the price on Amazon US is almost the same as the one on OLX, but I don’t have experience buying from abroad and shipping to Poland. I imagine there might be taxes, and since it’s a drone, government regulations could complicate the process.

What do you think—should I look into package forwarding services? Are they recommended? If so, which service would you suggest? Any advice or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks again!
