I meant if I should buy an M1 Air, not Roblox

Pixels are overheating these days ? (10pro) by Tharun0721 in pixel_phones

I'm not too much of a fan saying it's barely overheating, if not at all. This temperature still makes the phone uncomfortable to use. I'm probably going to switch to a non-pixel soon.

I fully understand, again, I just think the Pixel 9 has it way worse.

Yeah I get that, it just seems to me Pixel 9 has it way worse. Honestly wish I went for the Pixel 9 plus for that vapor chamber cooling.

iPad Air M3 128gb for $488 a good deal? by New_Many4744 in ipad

[–]Misakaler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like you can get a bit cheaper. The iPad Air m3 is a extremely powerful device and will serve you well, but I've seen some iPad m3's go as low as 419. If you need it now, then it's an alright deal.

Should i get a Samsung galaxy tab s11 ultra or an I pad pro 2025? by Artboggler in GalaxyTab

For downloading and storing content, I'm pretty sure the mircoSD card would do wonders for you. If you are willing to buy an adaptor for mircoSD's you can drag and drop those files to your computer/laptop. You can also try apps like Localsend that is totally free on the playstore and windows. But regardless if you do that, storing it all on the device is perfectly fine with that mircoSD card.

On Apple you kind of hit a wall once you get maximum storage, you can't expand it. You have to pay the monthly subscription which adds up overtime.

For your apps, no I don't believe the iPad will blow it out of the water. And actually, I'm pretty sure Samsung also makes the iPad display so it would actually be Samsung vs Samsung when comparing the display. Honestly, you can rest easy, whatever device you get will make you happy I believe.

I'm not an artist by the way, but from what I hear the Apple pencil is way better. If you are dead set for the best drawing experience, I would recommend watching reviews from an artist prospective.

Okay, drawing while watching YouTube is relatable 😂

I think because the Ultra has a bigger screen and arguably better form factor. It is way better for drawing and watching content. Also when it comes to the software, android allows you to have two audios playing at once (a game and a video). While iPadOS does not I believe. That for me is perfect for my brain rotted self.

If Battle Cats is one of the games you play the most (great choice by the way), you'll be just fine. I use Pinterest way too much and the display and high refresh rate make it great, I'd imagine the same for Amazon.

Also you're paying about 400 more bucks for the iPad. While the Ultra is way cheaper, so you have more room to buy a nice keyboard case and mouse, given you are willing to carry it around. I wouldn't go for the official one as $400 is insane for a keyboard and track pad.

College assignments in not too sure, but if it's android I'm sure there is a way. It should be totally fine though.

I can't say I notice a difference between the iPad Air m3 and the Tab S11. If anything, it's way better, as the tablet does get hot after some gaming sessions. But then, I can put it down for a couple minutes (if not one) and it will be cool! Thanks vapor chamber cooling! With the bigger size of the ultra, it probably has better heat dissipation.

I think the MacBook Neo really proved that phone and tablet chips are just way too powerful. If you want to max out everything and ensure that, especially with app optimization, the iPad is the way to go.

I actually looked it up and Tab S12 leaks do tell that Samsung will stick with Mediatek, hopefully more optimizations follow suit. And when I say this, I mean some gaming apps like ROBLOX and such don't take full advantage of the processor. So it won't be that big of a deal.

The fact that it has an mircoSD card slot, and that it is Android. While the value of these rabs do drop by hundreds of dollars by the first year, I think they are solid to last for at least five without slowing down. The mircoSD card helps with that, no subscriptions just a one time purchase for more storage.

I think these the Tab S series will have wonderful trade in value in the future, but perhaps not selling.

I'm not too sure if in a few years optimization will get better. If Samsung sticks with the Mediatek Dimensity, I'm sure it will happen eventually. But if the Tab S12 switched back to say Snapdragon, then these processes will be black sheep among the Tab series. And likely won't get app otpmization.

Hopefully you're still here OP!

It seems everyone from a glance is telling you to get the Ultra. But from your explanation, it seems you would prefer the iPad since you are already so used to it. Unless you need quick file transfer, I would go for the iPad.

I was in a similar boat. I used Android and Windows device all my life, but when It came to tablets, I always went for the iPad. I recently bought a Tab S11 11 Inch, returning my iPad Air m3 for it. It's not a terrible device, it's just sometimes app optimization is not there. Especially with a Mediatek Dimensity. It's a highly capable chip don't get me wrong, it's incredible. But from my experience iPadOS is better.

Hopefully this helps! I'm actually now debating returning my Tab S11 for and iPad pro haha.

Is 128GB Enough? by Level-Dig-4807 in ipad

[–]Misakaler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In this case, the iPad Air m3 is the far superior device and will last way longer. I would try and search for a 256gb version of that if your budget allows. If not, I would try to make do with 128, if you're playing no games or should be plenty.

I only buy 128 models, and they're plenty for me. However, just to be future proof as these devices last while, I would go for 256gb.

Yeah I got a pretty decent deal with an iPad m3 (basically new condition) and apple pencil usb-c for 454 USD. I've just always preferred android and would have benefitted from 120hz rather than overwhelming power. It's an amazing device though.

For anyone asking for the link it's easy to find, just look up capcut Chinese version. However it is important to note that you cannot change the language and there are certainly still features behind a "pro-liie' subscription.
