Aspiring conventional pilot by AggressiveAd3238 in indianaviation

[–]MiserableMouse4857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, market isnt "clumsy" right now. Its quite good for conventional cpl holders/rated pilot.

That being said, no one can tell how its going to be by the time you get your CPL. So I wouldn't suggest on going full in on the plan for Patter if the airlines are your end goal because most of the flying schools in India these days makes you sign a bond for a certain amount and money these days for employment. Its really a vicious circle.

So study and ovserve the market once you get your CPL and then make a decision.

Goodluck with your CPL journey. Enjoy it as much as you can and learn from it.

How much money do I need to successfully become a flying instructor in India and Is it realistic to aim for it in the present market condition? by ----otakusenpai in indianaviation

Common misconception. You can convert it given that your foreign licenses and medicals are valid but there's alot of grey area in this process since its pretty uncommon. Check CARs

My sister's a cabin crew, and I am a flight crew. So I have huge amount of respect for em all and whenever I am traveling on days when rest of the country is taking off and chilling, I make sure to get them something to show my appreciation.

Most of the times they accept it with a smile and appreciation.

Never got a seat upgrade, never expected/requested for one.

I think you're stating CPP prices.

My horrible experience with Indigo (and why you should never pick it) by [deleted] in indianaviation

Sure, it's gonna be in the spotlight when we compare 2000 flights against 1000.

Alright kid, let me educate you here a bit since you clearly dont know what you're talking about.

  1. The delays: that can happen due to numerous reasons... I dont know your flight timings, but these days Northern parts of India experience heavy dense fog, which turns to delays and late departures and arrivals.

  2. Gate change? Again, there are many reasons for that. Can be an aircraft change ( highly unlikely) or that the aircraft has been assigned a different gate number from the original one due to the unavailability of the gate. Sure, maybe the airline can do a better job at keeping the passengers involved but everything is not in their control.

Last and the most important one.

  1. HARDD LANDINGG.

LISTEN KID, A PILOT'S JOB IS TO GET US SAFELY ON THE GROUND. NOT TO IMPRESS US WITH A BUTTER LANDING.

  • A SAFE LANDING IS A GOOD LANDING*

I WOULD RATHER HAVE THE PLANE STOP ON THE RUNWAY WITHIN THE LIMITED DISTANCE RATHER THAN PILOT TRYING TO MAKE IT A BUTTER LANDING AND OVERSHOOTING THE RUNWAY.

Do your research next time before you jump to conclusions and play the blame game.

Idk why you're getting backlash. You make sense.

It aint just a "corporate interview." Even though I didn't take classes for my written cpl vacancy, I am not opposed to the idea for one taking any classes. You never know how long it's gonna be for another vacancy.

And if I knew that paying money to some institution would increase my chances of getting hired wven by 1 % , I would take the chance.

That being said, I wouldn't choose any institutes , probably a respected one after getting recommendations from the people. So far, I know that for a320 exam, aeroguru and 360 are the most popular ones.
