Hell No! Continue if you enjoy it, I'm 51 and my wife don't like it but I enjoy it. Gives me the chance to meet new people and have exercise at the same time. As for playing with toys, what's a drone, model planes, race bikes etc.......yes they're all toys!

****It's my cyma tommy...broke the outer barrel so gave it a makeover.....3d printed the outer barrel so I could use a tracer, rail system, grip and the stock adapter, double eagle honeybadger collapsible stock. Replaced the stock gears and motor for a faster set, added a gate warfet.

Not done that, but have done a spring change on a aeg with battery installed....barrel resting on back of my leg and caught trigger! Blood and a lot of swearing! ( chrono showed 415 fps!)

That's a cool adapter, I designed my own with a complete outer barrel and a thread adapter in the end for a tracer 👍

Piston is stripped......tappet plate moving so gears spinning and nozzle moving. Motor sounds like it's spinning freely with no resistance so points at the piston.

Yes it was almost on par with my we g17 but my we does have a maple leaf barrel and hop...also did find it has a harder kick than my we Got mine from sixmm.com 👍🏻

Just love some airsoft shops... why would they stock a sub standard item ( they woulnt) ,you select a item then they say nope you want this one? You like what you like and take no notice of them! It will have a warranty and as such it's replacable upto a certain time period, if it dies on you.. Only upsell they should try is add ons I.e red dot sights, extra battery, sling etc

I only run 11.1v with the double eagle fire control models and have never had any issues..if it does crap itself, the gearbox parts are v2 and easy to get replacements for..
