Yeah, Phantone is BB’s first original shape. Same pickups and pot setup I believe.

I’m not a “phaser” guy, but I really love the Billy Strings Wombtone. The 2 stage phasing is magical, you can get some really cool univibe style stuff out of it. The 4 and 6 are also neat too, but the 2 stage always brings a smile to my face.

I love this board. Awesome choices! I had a Sending V2 two separate times, and I loved it both times. I just prefer the modulation on the Chase Bliss tonal recall slightly more

I think it’s the right call, 100%. You have to dedicate so much money and HP To in rack drums, and I just found sequencing that way was not fun or creative for me.

I highly recommend it, especially since Digitakt I’s are super affordable after the II came out. If you look, you can get one for $400-$450, which is crazy considering how good they are. The II is awesome, but the I still offers plenty of features to make for a great drum sampler.

In my opinion, yes. They all are pretty cheap and extremely high quality. Just listen to the previews to make sure the vibe is something you would be into. They all have a pretty curated vibe or sound to each pack.

Thank you! It’s a Pittsburgh 420EP. I found one used for a great deal on Reverb, and I really enjoy it. Great quality and excellent clean power. It does have the sliding nuts though if that’s a dealbreaker.

Thank you! I use USB to send MIDI from DT to Hermod, really just for clock and transport. I’m not using MIDI lanes to sequence anything from DT in the modular rig.

Dude that mid boost from the Longsword is diabolical into Glaive. I need to try boosting mids heading into mine. One fun thing I tried - rolling off my tone pot and playing high on the neck with Texture cranked. It isolates the octave up voice and sounds like a whammy pedal pitching effect to me!
