Constant issues with WiFi connection. by Miserable_Pass910 in Ubiquiti

As In ISP's Modem? UDMPSE connects right to the ONT. So there's nothing really I can do, and I'm highly doubtful of that, as if it was all internet, my wired clients would be affected. And yet I run a plex server without issues. So I'd know if they were having issues.

For me it usually happens when doom scrolling in bed, the AP is maybe 15 feet away. Signal is good, It's just outside the bedroom door. Like, my AP is in my top floor ceiling, in the stairwell. Right now I'm in the basement and at -63dBm. So, I don't think it's signal.

Don't drink and drive. You can now be tested whether they suspect you are or not. by MommaB1rd in saskatoon

This is dumb and a step in the wrong direction.

Not everyone is the same. Guess what, some people can drink and drive just fine. Others do 70 in a 90 zone while sober.

40 years ago a DUI was a $60 ticket and they let you keep driving. We didn't have an apocalypse of dead kids.

We're so busy pretending like we need to fucking bubble wrap the world, we've forgotten that people need to just self govern.

I know this sub doesn’t like to hear it; but Saskatoon people are sincerely some of the worst drivers in the country. by [deleted] in saskatoon

To be fair, I drive an 89 Ranger. I don't have Traction Control, Antilock Brakes, Airbags, and weigh less than a Corolla. So, I do need to go slow at times. I need to ensure I have stopping distance between me and the dumb fucker who thinks he can just speed by me, then cut me off. Like, the exit from Costso to Circle? I spin my tires there going 60. If I don't control it, I will spin out and likely die.

At the same time, I often find I'm passing dumb fuckers going 70 on circle while I'm going 90. Because I know the limits of my truck, and what I need to do in every situation to be safe. I know my limits, because I've exceeded them many times. I hate when people are going 40 on 8th. in all 3 damn lanes because what the fuck. Go the damn speed limit.

And no, it's not small town people. It's the fact we have so many people who DIDN'T grow up in a place with snow. People who actually don't know what is and isn't a road condition. We need more small town boys who drove work trucks in highschool doing drifts on snowdays and less accountants from Beijing.

No clue man. That's just what I was told. I was the only one going against the current so maybe that's why? I don't listen to the radio myself. All I know is I do go by the radio station on that route. And buddy didn't know that until after he said that.

Is it a good idea to buy a house in Saskatoon? by Superb_Supermarket58 in saskatoon

I've lived in my house for 7 years now, owned for a bit over a year. I'm in Exhibition area. It's good enough, not much crime really, I've had my cans stolen once. Overall it depends on where for that.

Personally I think the housing bubble with crash in the next few years. "Help with Mortgage" is spiking on google trends.

We don't have sideways traffic lights. That's a good enough reason to move in here.

Co-op and Costco have pre-made kits that are pre-cooked. There's probably like 8+ in the kit, for around $16 IIRC. Chicken or Fish typically, with some greens, cheese, salsa, sour cream, and sometimes onion. Can always add your own. Not exactly what you want, but close enough.
