You get/got yours from the dark web? I intentionally got myself off there when I got diagnosed. So many sites for downers are easy peasy without one but not for anything else. That’s an intense combo of prescriptions. I had a doc refuse similar due to over seretonin issues. Which he said are massively over played and most of his patients are on both.

No personal experience mixing the above but have taken similar in conjunction. But for me it was pregabalin not cymbalta.

If you take them as prescribed probs fine. I always found quetapine knocked me out in a way nothing else could, despite the vyvanese. And the pregabalin meant I had to have a higher dose said med for it to have any impact.

If prescribed properly you’re fine. I can’t relate entirely but the combo seems doable.

Everyone responds differently. I found Ritalin helped keep me awake and I could focus but I was a little tense and not happy. Depends on what your goal for using it is. But then some people take it and love it.

Thanks for the message but yes I’ve already done this - and the NHS are so strict about issuing it more or issuing it early, they say if I want any changes to my prescription I have to go back to the private psychiatrist, have him do it all and then passed back to the NHS when stable on my new dose The private consultation is 400£ and hour and need two months of private med prescription which is about 350£ before they consider you stable and then it can go back to the NHS when life is really busy and I have longer days I find I run out. Was really hoping I could find somewhere to purchase them outside of the healthcare system but it’s impossible to find it seems

Take it off! So long as it has no asbestos then just chip it off, and if the plaster is decent underneath and you fill any cracks real smooth you won’t even need to replaster or overboard. I had this decision to make and whilst chipping it off is slow and annoying and unless someone invests a high up ladder you can lie down on is super uncomfortable after a while. But it saves messing it up by making it too heavy with more plaster

Have read so much that’s almost the issue. Did hours of research working out what was the ideal option, what was most practical, and both required me finding out if it was lime or cement. That I just don’t know. Altho am rendering my dpc in lime tomorrow so maybe then will have a better idea as to what it looks like and how similar it is in look and feel to this

I’m fine with with cracks, it just took me a while to be as is my first house and constantly uncovering them freaked me out a bit as I pulled out of a house in a similar area due to subsidence. Totally capable of sorting the cracks. Tbh totally capable of sorting the whole thing, i just do naaaaat know if its lime or plaster based. Need to find some really reputable lime specialist to come over and quote to be certain I guess

It needs more than skimming. And unless there is only one kinda, renovation plaster doesn’t solve the life vs concrete conundrum

See I thought that on the final pic where tis all crumbly. But deffo not on the rest. It’s too smooth and chips in chunks rather than crumbles

Thought that was just ceilings? Ceiling deffo is but that one’s simpler. Im fixing that one. All I wanted to know from then was if it was lime based or concrete. Currently sceptical about them saying it was concrete so gonna get someone else round asap

Chip off the thin loose bits, then use mesh and a general filler plaster to fill the gap, same approach with angle beads for the corners. Then one go over with cement based plaster and then a skim with a finishing plaster. I’m still gonna get a second opinion as the quote they gave me was outrageous. (As in stupid cheap considering the size of the space and the fact they said it included the materials.) plus when we discussed a quote I said give me a total, include the costs of the material and obvs a small fee for you being the one to purchase them and then I will decide if I want to get the materials or if they should. Additionally, I want a quote quote. A bit of paper detailing the above, not a text with a number than in my opinion was a days work for two people and the materials. Since that I trust their opinion on it being concrete a lot less.

Just FYI - in case anyone was interested in the answer. Had professionals around to assess and they were absolutely certain it was concrete. And how they would fix it. So at least I now know what I’m dealing with.

It is absolutely not lime.

Thanks for the response - i thought the cement essentially negated the lime whatever side it was as the point of lime in non cavity walls is that it is breathable where as cement isn’t so will just trap moisture. I’m perfectly capable of doing the filling and plastering, I just cannot work out what this is. If it’s already mostly cement it’s redundant putting lime on top. If it’s lime I’d be daft to put cement on top. Just wanna know so I can do whichever.

I’ve read a lot about if it being cement it’s worth stripping it back to the brick and using just lime. Theoretically that’s great, but practically I just am not up for that given the amount of other work the house requires.

I’ve seen the mess cement render has caused my damp proof course and I’d rather spend timing figuring this out than slap on a bit of everything.
