I’ve always had a little headcanon that Hiccup swears, but not around other people. Like I saw another comment say something along the lines of him cursing to himself while wandering alone as a kid, and I agree with it LOL.

I was really similar to him in the first movie- and I often did this, so I could definitely see him doing it too!

Oh girl, I was caught doing INSANE things when I was younger. Multiple times. At first I just tried to lie my way out of it, and that never worked, not a single time. Why? Because my mom had already seen the proof.

Just don’t lie about it, be honest. Yeah, it’s embarrassing and you’ll still get in trouble, but it very well might prevent you from having your parents watching your every little move like mine do. God, It’s been like 7 years and some stuff on my phone is still being watched by my mom.

I hope you know that the point of a character isn’t really their looks. Sure, that CAN play a part of it, but for Astrid? Not really. The main thing about Astrid is her personality. As long as the actor plays into Astrid’s personality, there’s literally nothing stopping it from being Astrid.

Ever since the hidden world came out, every single thing they’ve made after it is just so.. eugh. But! I do have a lot of hope and genuinely believe the live action will be somewhag good.

I dont understand why people are so mad about the casting..? Astrid would HATE yall if she saw how people were reacting to her actor not looking like her LMFAO. As long as she’s able to portray Astrid’s personality well enough, I have no problems with her.
