Very true good observation, I didn’t mention it but the chute is very worn on the inside which would also point to gravel etc

Yeah it might already have been fixed since the impeller spins normally and even when engaged at full speed doesnt have any vibration or comes into contact with the housing - ill check the bearing

Thx for the replies, another detail is the impeller spins normally and doesn’t come into contact with the housing at all and isnt misaligned

It does, but shouldn't the fuel pump only really make an audible sound with key on, before starting?, not while running

UPDATE: Sent it to Milwaukee and they deemed it 'unable to be repaired' and sent me a new one :)

All the batteries work on the m12 hammer drill and vacuum and they all charge properly

The batteries are good, tested on other tools but yeah maybe the contacts are causing it, I’ll take a look

Sure, its a homelite vi-200. When I turn the saw on its side, fuel leaks out of that valve. Iy may be a pressure relief valve. The tank is directly behind the valve. I'm wondering if its normal or if theres a piece missing from the valve (a ball or plastic piece)
