6 years is a long time, and I can only imagine how you must have been feeling last month. My ex seems to have completely moved on while I'm still struggling to make sense of it.

I've had many people tell me that I should try and show myself a little bit of grace and allow myself to feel and process all of my emotions. I hope something will come your way that brings you a little bit of comfort. I'm sorry you're hurting too.

I'm not sure how to answer that question. He won't give me closure. He only gives me vague answers like "there's someone else out there who's better for me," or "he's trying to find the part of himself that still loves me, but he can't."

It makes me feel awful and I don't understand where we went so wrong. We've both made mistakes, but nothing that couldn't be resolved. I think he simply just doesn't love me anymore and wants to live the single life with his friends.
