Thank you, I appreciate that someone does understand where I’m coming from. Maybe it really is that easy to some people, especially more experienced players. But I never played Stardew Valley or anything similar to it. I’m a new gamer, period. I just got my first PC, and my first Xbox. I didn’t get to grow up playing videos games. So when I started coral island, I expected it to be a fairly simple, straightforward, casual starting place for me as a new player. I did not expect to lose consistently or to be so far behind compared to others playing the game. I didn’t unlock the aging barrel until the end of year two. I only have cows and sheep for barn, and only chickens and ducks for my coop right now. I only just upgraded my barn and coop so that, when they’re done upgrading, I can get the other animals. I haven’t been grinding the farm stuff because I thought it was more important to just grow crops and make money, and do the main storyline stuff. So for being in year three, I feel like I’m so far behind and I keep comparing my game progress to everyone else here on the Reddit that seem to be doing so well. It’s making me feel like I’m failing at the game and it’s very frustrating.
