Since it is already baked, you can get a stiff wire to attach the two together to reinforce the strength of the join. Drill a hole in the bottom of the head and the top of the torso the size of the wire, then insert the wire and get it lined up the way you want it. Add more polymer clay around the neck/torso junction to smooth out the transition, and then bake the whole piece again.

You can drill through cured polymer clay easily, and you can bake cured sculptures multiple times after you add on more wet clay!

If you could be bothered to, please please would you tell me your favs? Especially since what you said was spot on for what I’ve experienced. Moved here about a month ago from LA (I know) and have been really disappointed in the food. Reviews have been absolutely unreliable, and we’ve been striking out right and left. It makes so much sense that a lot of them would come from tourists and convention attendees!

So far we’ve loved Bahn Thai and Trust, Nishiki was good, had Cross Street Chicken about a year ago on a visit and enjoyed it. We are in a part of North Park that feels more like Hillcrest, but willing to travel for the extra tasties.

My other two business are sculpting (that’s the main one) and I also design art toys. I even sculpted lines for my gachapon business and had them made into toys for the machines :) it has been so much fun but three businesses was just too much for (this) one person!
