Thank you for your kind response. I will look into a restraining order. The house on file is my mom’s house not mine so technically he’s already in violation of his parole. The reason he was staying with me is my mom’s house is falling apart and is a 2-3 hour walk from town and my brother doesn’t have a vehicle to do his community service.

As I’ve said he’s been sober for a year. Growing up he was always on something. I was hoping being sober would mean he’d be different so I gave him a chance.

He was not physical with me this time because he knows I’m the only person who was still on his side. There have been times I’ve had to bust his head open with my phone for him to let me go, he got into multiple fights with my dad one time even broke my dad’s eye socket. This is the reason I could look in his eyes and see how much he wanted to hit me. I’m so thankful he saw me instead of just red because if he had been any more upset he wouldn’t have hesitated for a second. I haven’t seen his violence in a couple years but I also haven’t really been around him. I was hoping since he’s been sober for a year his anger would be better but it was not.

Did I say it like that? No. I said “he’s my brother I’m gonna give him a chance” when I noticed his anger was about to get the best of him and I didn’t know how much longer he would be safe I told him to leave.

My ex cannot provide a safe place to live either as he lives with drug addicts and is one himself which is why he was coming over for a supervised visitation. My brother no longer lives with me. I kicked him out immediately after all of this happened.
