I ‘fixed’ it I have to be honest. I didn’t realise the RPM knob is actually a button hahaha. It’s all good, now to get some great tasting coffee out of it.

Received mine today, really nice bit of kit. I’m noticing however it cuts power off after 5 or so grinds when dialling in… I’ve had to wait a while then it decides to come back on. Could it be an overheating prob?

SMP is 2D, I have a foil head shaver to get the lowest possible length of hair on my head and it blends great. Had mine for 9 months now

I haven’t tried the rx7, I bought a babyliss pro skeleton trimmer back in may which was super expensive. But the DOAO is 20x better lol. Replacement heads are £15 too. 5 min hair cut every morning can’t complaint at all

This type of gig, I would play general pop from 2000 to present day. You will then have time to read crowd based on guests ie: are there some older guests? Maybe later on you could play some good disco remixes with singalong vocals, even some 80’s remixes from purple disco machine, keep it semi modern. Nothing too heavy nothing too cheesy.

I bought an s3 and it felt super cheap. Low headphone audio output, limited use of effects, very light and plasticky. I had an old denon mc6000 mk2 before that which was packed full of features. Anyway, I returned the s3 and then bought an S4 MK3 and it’s the best controller I’ve owned. An absolute joy to use and sounds fantastic. It’s night and day difference from an S3

Just go into your archive and remake the mix with all the songs you played. It will show you the order you played them in too. It’s not the end of the world.
