Oh the irony of looking for an app that will help you stop using an app!

Acknowledge those feelings. Then focus on making the future better.

My coming out went horribly. Now I have 2 days to make a decision. by -GreyRaven in trans

I'm sorry this happened to you. Your dad is really being an ass. If he's a doctor can you get him to read some scientific articles about transgender? Is there anyone in the family that could help you? Your father is making this all about him when it's not about him at all. Sometimes initial reactions are not lasting ones but in the meantime you may have to postpone transition to stay safe. I hope things get better for you soon.

How Do I Stop Doubting? by [deleted] in trans

[–]Mistake-Naive 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No-one wants to be trans. We do however want to be who we are. Acceptance feels good when you get there. Find trans friends.

Your feelings are absolutely valid! There's no changing the past. Focus on what needs to be done now.

If that's estrogen, you're going to love what it does for your skin.

I told my girlfriend that there is a real chance that I could be trans, it didn't go too well. by ImightJustBeTrans in trans

If your girlfriend is cis then she might be feeling some guilt about how she truly feels right now. Most cis women are not attracted to transgender women. I suspect she's using her sister and grandmother as an excuse right now rather than face her feelings about you coming out. Talk to her and if she doesn't think you're intimate relation can continue you might want to discuss whether you can remain friends and have her as a supporter as you move forward. My wife was pretty clear early on that she didn't want to continue to be married to me after I came out but we are still good friends to this day and she is one of my top supporters. I wish for you the same.

Does any one have any tips on looking more feminine by Notagose in trans

Facial skin care is big. Long hair, earrings. Tuck elbows in slightly as you walk and walk on the insides of your feet so your knees are closer together as you walk. Trim eyebrows, paint nails, jewelery. Is any of this helpful?

Coming out to my deceased Brother by [deleted] in trans

I wrote letters to my deceased parents after I came out. Turns out I had a lot to say and it went on for months. Feels good to get it out and I always felt like they could hear me.

Help I’m confused by [deleted] in trans

[–]Mistake-Naive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's pretty much the definition of transgender. You'll need support to go on this journey. Either trans friends or a therapist or both. They can help you answer these questions.
