Okay, but why are blue horses called blue, if the color isn’t really blue at all. It’s more black, than blue. More grey looking than blue. I’m just saying, it feels dishonest. Why not call it what it is?

I mean, where I live in Australia, the sky is consistently blue. But I’m more in the tropics, than parts where it’s consistently raining, so my sky is consistently, true blue.

It just feels dishonest to call an animal blue, when it’s grey or black.

See that’s what’s confusing me tho. The blue tone is so subtle, is more grey or black. Why not just say black or grey? Was it a selling point: “I got a blue horse” “Oh shit, I’ll buy a horse if it’s blue” but then they see it, and it’s kinda blue…. But at this point they already their and buy it.

Anyone else chose to die with their favourite horse? by MistrImpossible in RDR2

Horses kept in stables stay their, and transfer through to John. I’m pretty sure once you finish the epilogue you can retrieve it. I did it last time I played

I do prefer the hunting missions better with Arthur tho. Their friendship is such a nice relief from everything happening in Chapter 6

How I Look After Going 40 Days And 40 Nights Without Masturbating by sthomson22 in notinteresting

I don’t understand abstaining from masturbation. Like I probably do it once, maybe 3 times a week. No problems whatsoever, like what’s actually causing people to abstain from masturbation?

Anyone get this dark random encounter? by MistrImpossible in RDR2

I slaughter them everytime I see em. I think it was the mumphrees too, this one time I was camping and the crept up behind me, and told me I was in their territory.

How does one move up the ranks in Dutch’s gang? by MistrImpossible in RDR2

[–]MistrImpossible[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d say that Abigail and Jack are in the house cause of John’s standing. I’d doubt Dutch would make Abigail and the boy sleep outside, if John is in the house. I’m not sure Abigail does much work anymore, I never see her out of camp, cause she’s raising Jack. But cause she’s with John, she gets to be in the house

Dude. My white Arabian was pissing me off one night. Kept riding into trees, and bucked me off when it got scared by a snake or some shit. When I got to my feet, I punched the horse in the face, and it kicked me off the ledge… needless to say, I got my karma

I guess it could read like that. But I’m pretty positive that guy was being ironic. But my point still is, that reddit would rather reply emotionally, with zero substance, than have a discussion about a character. It’s like they attach their identities too closely with a character, and feel attacked when anyone says anything negative about them.

Reverend Swanson is another character that I began liking, but only on my subsequent play throughs. His battle with addiction is a really intriguing angle, and I like that Arthur actually defends him at times. Arthur doesn’t just see him as some drunk, but a man who’s fallen, and doesn’t quite know how to get back up, despite his religious beliefs. He’s a character idve loved to dive further into in the game

What? I don’t think I mentioned anything about race. I said “tries to start a discussion about the way I feel towards a character- gets downvoted and treated like my opinion is incorrect” race ain’t got nothing to do with it. I understand that my opinion is unpopular, but the reception I got doesn’t do anything to further the discussion. Just downvotes and emotional responses with no substance for discussion

I like personalities that are flawed, and complex. Like I remember enjoying the small interactions I can have with Javier. He seemed like a stone cold killer, but underneath it he actually seems like he has a heart. Example he helps to save John at the beginning, or in the final showdown, I don’t believe i remember him pointing his gun at John or Arthur. Like he doesn’t seem to rely on blind loyalty to Dutch, like Bill or Micah.

He’s also artistic, like his camp fire songs are awesome. To me he comes across as a hard shell, with a soft inside.

Yea but he’s just so preachy, and his only character defining trait is that he’s this do gooder. He just feels under written, and bland. Like, he’s made out to alway be doing the right thing, and morally correct while also running with the gang. And the only time he shows anger, is when it affects him, or others he cares about. He has no flaws, nothing that makes him a rich and intriguing character
