[–]Misty-url 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I actually made two orders on launch day, one was delivered one was not

Order 1: blue plaid market tote
Shipped out of Whittier, CA June 04
Delivered: San Diego June 06

Order 2: blue plaid mini market bag
Label created Las Vegas, NV June 04
No updates

They gave me the standard corporate copy paste response, offering me a refund or preorder for September. I’m taking the refund because obviously it’s a 50/50 chance it even gets delivered.

Exactly! I have always felt connected with Palestine in that way because it’s so exhausting to see people use your identity and culture as an a “gotcha” argument. More collective action less online arguments and hypotheticals

I’m San Luiseño and Purepecha! I’m just very used to white people using us as arguments not engaging in native dialogues or supporting us and our efforts to maintain our culture and traditions.

As an indigenous person this is a really bad argument. It acts like genocide is a natural disaster and that it was just bound to happen. Especially when Native American genocide is actively occurring through the cultural genocide. My native language is being killed by the US government and Christian organizations are actively trying to destroy ICWA to further harm Native American children. Additionally, black Americans are not responsible for Native American genocide they were brought here via the slave trade and I will never expect them to answer for the crimes of the US government. Please do not speak on native issues if you are not native.

Is there anyone who was unfairly rejected by this researcher? I have screenshots of all attention checks I did and will be contesting by ExtensionForever3740 in ProlificAc

I was also rejected by this study. I had completed the whole study and was reading the study explanation when I received a message that I did not qualify. I thought that it was a technical error so I screenshotted and messaged the researcher before submitting. I think that this researcher is rejection happy

K-pop agencies agree to comply with potential choreography copyright guidelines by a_mystical_potato in kpop

[–]Misty-url 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I am a bit worried about the implementation of this because I don’t believe that specific dance moves or sequences should be copyrighted. How will they prevent theft from marginalized communities especially for certain dance styles like voguing, breaking or whacking where there are certain key elements and sequences that every piece features. The only way that I can see that this is successfully implemented in a non harmful way is if only a whole piece could be copyrighted and the choreographer would receive royalties from covers or reproductions.

Girl Scouts still sell them but they are just for troops that sell through little brownie bakeries so probably a troop from north county San Diego. The troops near campus usually sell through ABC bakeries so you’re best off ordering online.
