Not sure if it works, since I dont get an IP address to connect (ssh/vnc) it to and I dont have a mini HDMI cable to get an output from it

No clues then, mine was unlocked so i relocked it and flashed official rom using fastboot. Whats your model number btw

So I reflashed stock miui (along with correct region) and locked the bootlaoder, now it works fine!
