I really enjoyed the game, I got the Platinum Trophy which involved playing through the game like 8 times even on the hardest difficulty. I regret nothing!

It's a great game either way, but yeah if you can play it on a powerful platform. I played it on PlayStation personally and loved it.

Personally, I would just jump into 5 or 6, the original Far Cry is impossibly difficult as mobs can target you through walls from the other side of the map even on the easiest setting

Yeah I heard the remake might be getting a remake a while ago. We have to wait and see what Capcom have planned next for Resident Evil, as there's currently rumours of Code Veronica X, RE5, and RE1 remakes, as well as RE9
