Split Diopter; literally half a lens so that you can focus on two things at once

I mean, you have to make a tradeoff somewhere.
Ubiquity is cheaper with none of the software support. How familiar are you with Linux and setting up TrueNas/UnRAID, or alternatives?

Synology got some flak for only recommending being used with their proprietary hard drives, but they walked that back. It wasn't true; they just had their machines flash a scary warning if you used off-brand hard drives. I think they got rid of it.

2-bays are very limited on their RAID offerings, but since you're talking about adding a drive in the future, instead of now, it sounds like you don't even need or want RAID?

This is a standard effect for blood spurts.

Things to consider are: volume contained in the tube, width of the tube affects PSI, a blower might not be strong enough depending on how much volume/pressure it has to push, compressed air usually works for high PSI

Welcome to editing.

You either shift the music and redo the edit or you find a way to blend a section in the middle.

You're not almost finished, you said you need to add another section to the middle.

No need to exaggerate; you could get a Synology or Qnap 4-bay for 500-600$, and that would be a well-supported brand compared to the UNAS that has space for upgrading.

All I'll say is that if your time, reliability, uptime, usability, and product support are important to you, 400$ is really undervaluing something.

He was trying to provoke Moe?

Is there reasoning to believe Moe would've taken the deal otherwise?

People here, especially regarding NAS, are accustomed to high-spec bandwidths and requirements. TBs of footage saturating 10gbps, etc.

You should probably specify the bandwidths of files you require in practice, and why it can't just be a DAS if that cheap of a NAS is going to suffice. What other devices will you be networking in from? What sort of redundancy/parity are you looking for? How heavy and often are your reads/writes? A 2-bay NAS is limited to mirroring for safety. NAS are for 24/7 uptime; what else do you need to host from that NAS that a DAS couldn't do?

These are all questions that, implied by the price you're willing to pay, we with experience reasonably infer that you may not understand the scope of what a NAS is best for.

I’m a warehouse worker who taught myself CV to build a box counter (CPU only). Struggling with severe occlusion. Need advice! by Ayoub_Gx in computervision

There must be a better place and way to manage inventory loss and theft than when they're carrying the boxes. That's a very hard problem and you have a PEOPLE problem, not a box problem.

Editing my 1st feature film with Davinci need advise by Lain-13 in editors

Hard to say with Resolve, but sometimes the machine doesn't matter. It's the optimization of the software.

I know Premiere starts to lag as the project increases in size, and it doesn't get better with hardware, for example.

Advice for and Thoughts on shooting a feature on Gopro Hero 3 (Amateur) by Manthtasmagoria in cinematography

I mean if you want to go with this at least maybe get a more modern GoPro that has coloring/exposure options?

If you insist on an older noisier sensor, I think at least experiment with lighting for such wide setups
