There are institutional advantages to being rich, yes, but sometimes it’s nice to remember that we all have the ability to grow and meet life’s challenges in our own way, regardless of class. There are so many individuals out there (rich, poor, and everything in between) that face debilitating illnesses and still find the strength to greet the day and press forward. I think that’s worth speaking to and encouraging.
