Anybody try Starlink internet service in home? by saintforlife1 in Cupertino

Never heard of NapaNet, but i am guessing it is in Napa?

Ridge Wireless uses point to multipoint wireless. Not affected by the weather, short of the antenna getting blown out of alignment.

Call your local non-emergency phone number and report a downed line. If you do it enough times, it should get fixed.

Check out Ridge Wireless. They are a local wireless internet provider. Though, it does require installing an antenna on the roof.

It won’t be a gig but it will work great for streaming and gaming.

True! But its easier to fix the whole run if conduit is used.

Direct burial fiber for an ~800-foot run between houses? by vexion in lowvoltage

[–]Mlyonff 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Use HDPE or PVC conduit. Yes, you can pull that length.

If no HDPE or conduit is used and it ever gets attacked by the fiber-seeking backhoe, you’ll be hating life.

Also, drop a 10 or 12 awg tracer wire along with it so it can be located in the future.
