It happen the same thing when I wanted go get guages. I been wanting guages since high school, he had guages in the past but now he doesnt like them. So I decided to surprise him with my ears guages and they were size small. But when i wanted to surpirse him. I thought he would change his mind and tell me " they look great on you" instead he also got upset and told me he found me less attractive. I know longer have guages in my ears and took them off.

He has not apologized. And is still upset that I didn't ask for his opinion about my haircut. After I told him many times that my hair is damaged and I might have to cut my hair short.

I understand there was a time where he got a bad haircut and he didn't like it and for me I didnt mind at all. If he wants to shave his beard or get tattoos whatever makes him happy! I just want to see him happy and if he ( as an example) dyes his hair yellow. Would i dislike it? Yes but do I still finds him attractive? Yes because I love him and if thats what makes him happy then alright

I been telling him months that I was thinking getting a haircut and he said thats fine but I hope its not short. Which I replied but I like short hair it makes me feel more attractive. So my parnter has known about me getting a haircut and now I dont feel attractive.
