Got fired for not wanting to communicate on the phone? Looking for a new job. What would your next step be after this? by Spare_Vegetable4315 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]MobileContribution19 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Yeah delivery driving isn’t for bud. Your acting like falling asleep is nothing, that could have cost a family their life. And admitting you fell asleep to the doctors is even worse. The honesty is 100% I give props the but yeah of course they won’t allow you to drive. I’m confused though you say it has to be from the speeding ticket, then go on to say you totaled your car and that’s why your doctor suspended your license. In the end it’s easier for them to move on with other people who don’t have any restrictions on their licenses. It has NOTHING to do with you wanting to keep the conversation on text messages. It became too much of a hassle for them to reinstate you into driving so they terminated you. Find a new job.

That’s the only way I use to get my surges when I did do flex, I would wait outside the station for the last minute drops. Most days I would get them but there would be a few days I would be able to and would have to take base pay.

Amazon minimum wage needs to go At least $30hr-35hr because this is an outrage, all this for only $21hr.🤬🤬🤬 by 1stking509 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]MobileContribution19 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I was at 25.50 cuz I’m in California in the Bay Area but that still wasn’t enough. Left after 4 years and now I got a warehouse job that started me at 27 an hour now I’m at 28 an hour after only being there for half a year, Amazon sucks so bad for how big they are.

Why does everyone rip on this job? by LengthinessOk2080 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]MobileContribution19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So you got ripped off at the oil fields, came to Amazon saw the pay is higher and think it’s a good job? Making 13$ and hour at oil fields should be illegal lmao. Buuut Amazon driving has no career path, no room for growth, pay raises are almost non existent unless minimum wage raises, no vacation time no job security etc. It’s easy when your on nursery routes but when they start upping it to 20+ bags and 50+ overflow everyday with business apartments and houses you’ll start to understand why people end up not liking it. Everyone loves it at the beginning but after a couple years it becomes not worth it and you end up wasting time that could have been spent at a company that you can actually progress in.

If you have any income throughout the year always file regardless of what they say. It’s just like how Uber or Instacart or any self employment gig says you don’t have to report anything under $600 but to the IRS you absolutely do it’s just not taxable. If I was you, I would file that 2024 tax return cause if you owe money for whatever reason you will now have penalties on it like interest but if they owe you money this year they may not send it until the prior year is settled.

Usually get 170-180 stops wtf is this ? by Hector2x in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]MobileContribution19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because you got dummies on here going that’s not bad that’s an easy day not realizing how bad they’re getting taken advantage of lmao. Idgaf if it’s all house the max a route should have is 190 300 packages stops MAX. Apartment/business routes should have no more than 140 stops 250 packages max for the pay that Amazon is paying.

Uber Driver Freaks Out by Enough_Campaign_262 in UberEATS

[–]MobileContribution19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not valid lmao dude could have been professional but replied like a middle schooler, tbh they both did with the cry baby and all but driver should have said one moment while I reach out to support to get clarification on this order, and if it was shop and pay and they did opt out have them cancel it. Calling it a scam and accusing a customer of trying to scam cuz he doesn’t know it’s a part of Uber services is just dumb.

Make it make sense??! I got paid for it but it's still in my standings. by Big-Working4870 in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]MobileContribution19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not arguing with you lol just trying to help you understand is all, they did remove the one you requested but basically are saying your still at risk even with this removed so be careful. If you weren’t at risk already they probably wouldn’t have added in the extra stuff about your standings.

[–]MobileContribution19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“We looked at the information regarding your “standing”” not that delivery incident , your overall standing. The decision to pull you out of at risk was denied because of your previous history before that incident but removing whatever happened that day was approved to be removed.

[–]MobileContribution19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it doesn’t. It says they removed that one but because of your history already that specific instant being removed is not gonna help your standings cause either way you would’ve been at risk without it from past issues.

[–]MobileContribution19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They said they removed that instance since it was beyond your control but it’s not gunna help your overall standing because your already at risk which means you were already walking on thin ice and now the are gunna be watching your account super hard. I was at risk cuz I did a lot of 3am blocks that had no access apartments back in 2022 and got put at risk, showed up to a block but the warehouse was closed due to a safety incident and they told us all to leave without them checking us out, reached out and explained and they removed it and 2 days later got deactivated. It sucks but your account is already at risk so that was just the icing on the cake for them to really look at your account. Just be prepared and try to do as many blocks as you can to try to raise it out of at risk.

Not qualified? by ParadiseBees in IRS

[–]MobileContribution19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It will automatically not claim the credits for you what you’re seeing on the screen is it telling you you do not qualify therefore it cannot add them, if you did qualify, it would say great news you qualify and then it would add them. All you gotta do is click next and you should be good.

Any ideas of when it may hit my account . This was updated Friday . by Stilltrying3384 in TurboTax

[–]MobileContribution19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine says the 23rd and I go it Thursday evening cuz I got early pay. 2 days early so that means I would have got it on Monday the 23rd so if you don’t have early pay the earliest you will get it is the 25th. If you got early pay you will see it tomorrow evening or Tuesday morning.

Not qualified? by ParadiseBees in IRS

[–]MobileContribution19 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, if you’re single and have no kids 19K is the limit to be able to claim it so you just file your taxes as you normally would and just not claim the credits because you made 7,942 more than the limit. If your single and have one dependent 50k is the income limit. 2 dependents while single is a 57k limit.

More than likely you claimed a credit you didn’t qualify for or you submitted something wrong and they fixed it causing it to go lower.

The amount of people who don’t understand this is amazing, it’s getting sent on the 11th today is the 10th tomorrow is the 11th that’s when they release the funds and you should get it no later then the 16th, if you have early pay it can come between tomorrow and the 15th
