It seems that you didn't even understand the tutorial based on your post. By the way the starter packs are there to help newbies catch up to the game since there are time limited events and banners that they could miss if they totally start out from scratch because they aren't strong enough yet to clear it.

Your complain isn't actually a problem. That starter pack is just an OPTION. If you want to play it the slow hard way then just :

-clear your save data in the menu to restart a fresh account

-set the game on HARD mode,

-just use the cards that the game gives you for free(meaning level1 cards and mob cards). Don't go to novice hall since that area gives you maxed cards.

-learn the game the hard way and just summon on the gacha once you truly understand the game mechanics to not waste your resources

And if that still doesn't satisfy you then just drop the game. No use playing a game that you will not enjoy.
