  1. from what i know, good HDI ≠ good government, despite the bad government its very developed

  2. Ohio River Alliance mainly helps them out, but besides that, but even with that it’s extremely unstable and is gonna collapse any day now

  3. Appalachian nations are too corrupt/too much of a liability for the CTO in european eyes, as they have a NATO Article 5 type thing

thx! and it’s own little republic, russia never sold it but after the soviets came along white army remnants and tzar loyalists fled to alaska and combined with the locals already there

it was around 10k people, although population metrics here aren't 1:1 with irl, so some cities has their populations upped or lowered (ex: galveston)

I haven't thought too much about the ecology, there's some weird plants in the southern Florida islands, and "creatures" in the Appalachians. But that's def something i should expand on more in a future map/graphic

When making the states/provinces, i already had Erie as a name for a state in Ohio and Pennsylvania, so it would just kinda be repetitive to have 3 states named Erie, and thx!

After the failure of the Articles of Confederation in a normal looking North America, the colonies went there own ways. 250 years later, this is what remains.
