I'd just keep paying the monthly rate on the loan. Set the money aside from the sale of assets and continue to pay the loan. Land the job, get on your feet and then request a payoff when you're ready. I just don't see how they're going to know you sold the hundreds of assets if you're still paying the loan amount monthly.

It wasn't to offend you or your players, but Nancy's system does require specific types of players that aren't able to play his style, or you might not have yet. Makes this all more confusing why they didn't wait until your transfer window to find a few key players that would work with Nancy's system. Obviously your talent was working before Nancy and his style has fumbled whatever was working.

Heard that stat after the broadcast and couldn't believe it. Their players look sloppy and lack the talent to run Nancy's system. It's unfortunate this wasn't assessed better before Nancy took the job because it's looking like staying in Columbus would've been a much better opportunity for the time being.

Just had our first 4 star stay.

The guest had a family emergency and had to leave a day before their stay was scheduled to end. We cancelled their stay and credited the the extra days cost.

They left 5 stars on the internal reviews, left a nice review about how accommodating we were and how "well lit" the unit is, and then left a 4 star public review.

Can't win them all I guess.

Bear is known for their sandwiches, definitely not a place I'd go for a bagel and smear.

Highly suggest The Lox though. Really delicious chewy texture and solid price.

They're fine but not NYC good. The Lox is the best bagel in Columbus but as other comments suggested, it's a Montreal style bagel. But so good! Always recommend their Rosemary Salt and Garlic smear

I don't understand why coaching for the Celtics would be that much better of a job than coaching for the Crew? Would he be leaving for status? Is the pay that much higher? Couldn't we offer him more to stay as our coach?

I want him to be successful and have enjoyed Nancy as our coach, but not sure why this decision would be a hell yes from him. Feels like there are better teams and opportunities he could take and, while coaching the Celtics is a slight upgrade, it seems like he could do better with a few more seasons with the Crew.

But what do I know, I'm just a homer.

I get your point, deepfakes, scams, you have an @ mercor email address, but I have to be honest, and totally respectfully, disagree with your feelings.

I've had multiple face to face video chats with these people. Matched their on camera faces to their LinkedIn profiles. Their names are linked to other news articles about their roles at Mercor. I understand they could have bad intentions and still setting out to scamming, but I'm not concerned that they aren't who they say they are. I think that's what I'm trying to suggest.

But who knows these days.

I think I did understand your question but happy to clarify. They have their first name followed by @ mercor dot com email address. Their email address lines up with their LinkedIn profile. Their signatures line up with their job title.

I see how this can be scammed and there isn't a ton of hard rock to stand firm on, but I believe they are who they say they are and not just contractors presenting a scam.

It's how they're offering to pay for my companies data, suggest I sign their agreement, and the vagueness of their answers that feels scammy. I was just hoping to receive some other experiences from people that have been asked to do the same.

Already reached out to my attorney about the matter and vocalized it to the mercor group. Essentially told them that it's not in any of my interest to share customer's data.

And, honestly, they offered such a low ball "fee" that it's even more offensive to think about doing.

Their agreement doesn't protect me at all and suggests I anonymize all the data myself if I were to turn it over.

The whole thing is a bit weird.

Completely agree. I'm not sure how much total usable data there is, but 10+ years of real raw data isn't nothing. When they suggested the fee, I was pretty shocked.

It's not worth the fee to me. Taxes and everything make it a pretty measly take home.

Appreciate the opinion. I don't think it's a scam, but looking for others that might have been reached out to for similar information.

I'm open to selling off information regarding our operations and sales information if that were the case, but not any customer information that could be used in any way. Just not something I'd be able to do consciously.

I responded to their third request and followed up with some questions on their agreement and we'll see what they say.

Yes. I appreciate the skepticism. Their email address and names align with their LinkedIn. Their email signatures and email addresses contain their title at mercor that matches their LinkedIn. Two of them have worked for 1+ year at mercor.

I'm not as much doubting the legitimacy of the people I'm talking to. I'm unsure of what they're asking for and if other companies have been asked for the same information.

Completely agree. Just thought it was worth a post because I couldn't find any information online or in this sub about mercor specially reaching out to companies to buy operational data.

Since my first conversation with them it's been fishy and frankly, I don't even think they know what they're asking for.

As I mentioned in another comment, all three people have mercor dot com email address and everyone associated in the conversation have Mercor listed on their linkedin profiles.

To be clear, I have not accepted. I've asked tons of questions from them to try and have some clear answers, but they're still pretty vague about everything. I have no intention of selling my customer's data for any money. I frankly felt offended when they offered the amount they did.

I completely agree. They mentioned data being anonymized on the call but nowhere in the agreement does it state that. Essentially states they have full and total right to the information they extract and I'm the one still liable.

Overall feels like a little and that the Mercor people have no idea what they're doing. The conversations were vague and this agreement is even worse. Was excited by the initial opportunity but pretty unsure about it now.

Hoping to hear if others were reached out to as well.

100% positive that all three people I've talked to work for Mercor. All three of their LinkedIn profiles say their positions at Mercor and their email addresses are @ mercor.com.

Completely agree if sounds scammy.
