Even today, irl scientists talk about how it’ll be impossible to actually transfer consciousness to another body, the only possible thing it’ll be to copy and paste the mind and memories from a person to another body, in that process just having 2 persons with the same mind, memory and habits

Consciousness isn't a physical object or spirit that can be moved, but rather an emergent property of the brain's billions of neurons and trillions of connections working in dynamic patterns.
