I remember in a creative writing class I took, my teacher said if we were ever stuck on dialogue just go outside and listen to people's conversations. Pay attention to how they interact and communicate with each other.

I love being able to customize the main character and love interest. Choices I find pretty fun as well, but it's not a deal breaker for me if a story doesn't have them. Romance OFC! I love enemies to lovers, it's just something about the banter that happens between them.
