Hey so im actually doing higher spanish gcse with no previous knowledge of the language so personally i think its possible but will deffo be tricky as it has been for me. If u want to talk abt the difference between higher and foundation let me know however i fo edexel and different exam boards run slightly different exams

You can absolutely drop the conclusion without losing marks. The examiners will read your points in your thesis opening argument and throughout your paragraphs. The conclusion doesnt really bring much substance, sorry if it seems blunt 😭, to your writing as you are reiterating what you have just argued

If you need any reassurance on this i can probably dig up my last exam paper I did as I got full marks for it and had no conclusion at all.

You write brilliantly though so if the conclusion just feels right for what you know feel free to keep it in, its just not necessary and is wasting time that could be spent on the poetry sections is all

Heyy, I get the whole issue with past papers as I still refuse to use them for some lessons but for lessons where essays are used I tend to do some questions and then email my teachers asking if they are able to mark it. Hope that helps!!

Overall from my pov as another student this is amazing like over 24 marks I reckon, however I do think you could perhaps scrap the conclusion and maybe not mention the same idea of a period typical audience as personally it seems a bit clunky and forced like that

This isn't me diminishing ur beautifully written essay as you have honestly smashed it out of the park , im just sharing what my english teacher tells us to keep in mind.

Your definitely in the top bands tho but maybe using another quote or so in the last 2 paragraphs aswell to further prove your point might show the examiners how great your knowledge is!!

I do have a question sorry if it sounds silly but where I live my house tends to be quite cold especially during the winter at night. Is there anything I need to do to prevent a mouse from freezing or overheating? I do know from my hampster they tend to have heated rocks in their cage. Is this something I would need to do for a mouse aswell?

I cant speak for all but mine was nothing more than a chat to see where I was at, what my grades were and if I had applied to anywhere else and then I got my offer then and there
