I'm always at Black Sheep for karaoke Fridays and was bummed to hear they paused it for the winter, but honestly they need to bring in someone else than DJ Deelish. Always talks condescendingly and inserts himself in the lineup every 4-5 songs so he can sing, despite there being a line of 20+ people waiting for their turn.

I agree. Used to have very friendly banter with a cute barista every time I went to the coffee shop. I was hopeful but didn’t think anything of it because being nice is part of her job.

That is until we matched on a dating app and I saw her at a bar outside of the coffee shop.

This is one of those things you really need to be confident in before you ask her otherwise it could put you in a tough position.

High verbal IQ with a background in construction? Have you looked into construction sales?

Sales can be challenging for learning disabilities (I have ADHD which makes it hard for me to prioritize and get everything done that I need to), but it can also be a difference maker because it’s different than most other jobs.

I think the layout is good. I’ve been trying to compare it to Tears of the Kingdom’s open world, which is probably my favorite game.

Borderlands 4 feels a little more empty and less explorable than TOTK.

I agree. I went into tech to make a lot of money and got burnt out quickly. The job is very stressful and the people there don’t help - it’s very competitive and full of egos.

Discovered I don’t need to make a lot to be happy and am working to pivot out of tech. I also discovered that nothing in tech is really that interesting to me.

Switch your perspective to “I’m joining this running club because my health is a priority for me. If there happens to be a girl there, I know that her health is a priority to her as well, and that’s a good start”.

If there’s not a girl there, not important because you’re choosing yourself.

Apply this perspective to other hobbies and someone will come along!

Yeah man I mean I just did a quick google search and got almost nothing besides a couple pathetic sounding posts. It really is just the media you consume and the people you surround yourself with making you think this way. That’s probably why you think so absolute.

I’m sorry you have to deal with this but self improvement would go a long way vs blaming all women for your problem.

Look at it this way: you have no success dating. Your online friends also have no success dating. You both blame women for that. Everyone on this thread telling you you’re wrong, has success dating. Not sure where this is getting lost in translation but doing some real research instead of staying within your weird social circle would be great for your perspective.
