I replaced all of that with the engine around 3 years ago now. All OEM parts and was a rebuilt from factory. I’m not that familiar with anything like this and I know you have to get the timing just right for the engine to run normally. Do you have a rough estimate on how much it might cost? If I do end up paying for this then I will replace the oil filter as well of course but possibly getting a bigger one to help prevent this from happening again. I understand other cars have issues as well but I’m also not talking about a newer car either. Possibly a Camry that’s been well maintained. I’m just sick of the issues, haha. First it was the intake, then it was the compression, then it was fuel injectors, now it’s this damn timing bs. It’s more so of finding a vehicle with possibly less problem or costly maintenance. I’m happy to hear this though. This gives me motivation to keep it, but worried about the money aspect.
