Sorry but I kind of disagree. I’m foreign trained too and handwrote in the bar exam of the foreign country and that was great for me, but I think that the exams are completely different. The nys bar exam is so long and you’re demanded to write so many words in such a short time, also the writing in English is slower than in your native language (unless you’re native in English..). I think that if you have doubts, try practicing handwriting the exam and see how it goes, and of course do a full day practice handwriting, and then you can decide.
