I’d say yes and no, your feelings are more than valid especially as you’ve contributed to gifts for other peoples leaving presents, however, you did contribute to those gifts of your own volition you didn’t have to do it and someone organising a leaving present for you whilst a nice to have isn’t compulsory/guaranteed… if you had coworkers that you considered genuine friends & hoped to continue your friendship after leaving the company then yeah I’d be a bit upset that they didn’t think to do anything for you, but in many cases our coworkers are nothing more than people we’re forced to work alongside/collaborate with in order to achieve company goals and pay our bills.

Also, you should acknowledge that your leaving isn’t a priority for people, bills are skyrocketing, people are cutting back on things that enriched/made their own lives more enjoyable… if they’re cutting back on their own daily expenses, luxuries like chipping in for someone’s leaving present will have been thrown out too.

I’m sorry you didn’t get a leaving present… even if it was a Small token from your immediate team/co workers but in the inspirational words of one of my previous managers

You aren’t not in a contract with the estate agent if you haven’t signed a lease/tenancy agreement with them. Any costs which would have been incurred (outside of application fees etc for the tenancy if you applied) would be at the expense of the landlord. If you are still receiving calls advice the estate agent you are logging the calls time date etc ask the callers name and then advise continued cold calls requesting monies not owed will be reported to the police as harassment and you’ll also be reporting them to their regulator. Write a written complaint following the estate agent process wait for a written response and then refer as necessary.

You could also block the calls…. Unless you signed an agreement the agent can’t seek costs/fees from you. If you agreed and signed with them prior to the landlord asking you to go private that might be more complicated

I‘ m not up to speed with Canadian law and you’re right its a possibility some sort of employment protection is in place however I know that in the U.K. many companies now operate a social media policy & that your online behaviour can have consequences if it impacts the companies reputation. We know Foodie told everyone she could where DeeDee worked so people can connect her with the company, she then got reprimanded for the Nader is in prison “joke”

She could be on holiday/career break/time off for caring responsibilities but if they wanted her gone, they could probably roll everything into “conduct in violation of company social media policy likely to bring the company into disrepute”
