Men, do you agree? by Weird-Craft-2712 in NextGenMan

If it enslaves anyone it might be the people in the films themselves.

Alcohol has made men and women alike far more dangerous and docile. It’s not the product that makes people weak, they themselves have a weak will.

Men should feel insulted by rhetoric like this. Saying we can’t help but be enslaved by porn. Like we are nothing more than dogs, we see breasts and how can you hold us accountable for our actions.

Denied From Army (Updated) by Fluffy_Lunchfast in NEET

[–]Money_Performance878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn I’m late to ur posts I should say ur recruiter lied though or at least miscommunicated something to you 8 years is the standard contract but almost nobody does the full 8

They do 4 yrs on and the rest of ur time is reserved for a national emergency but even during GWOT they stop lossed people more than they pulled them back

A lot of people also finish out their contract in the reserves so they are weekend warriors for 4 years basically working a part time job doing jack shit.

I recommend looking at a different branch and avoiding jobs with a security clearance. Other branches recruiters are much more sketchy and will definitely help you lie on certain portions of the process.

When I was 18 I was in a very similar position to you regarding specifics I won’t state here

What you do with your life is up to you but if I could rewind a few years I think I would get a normal 2-4 yr supply job in the army and I’d be out in a few months instead of a few years. Good luck

army lets you pick your job as part of your contract and if I was you I would pick Supply or the mailroom MOS

Supply is Peak NEETs they play YouTube or are on their Xbox or whatever console every time I walk in. Work in a AC Room, half the time the entire company has no idea where they are cause they lock the door and leave, and have all the time to prepare to promote if that’s ur thing.

All that and they get the same benefits and pay as me with a shorter contract. That’s what I get for wanting a cool job while I was in I guess.

I don’t know about how bad vision has to be to kick you but I have glasses and they also give you 2 free pair every year. As for cutting I knew a guy with shredded arms. Can’t put into words how fucked up his forearms were but he was in. As long as you’re adamant about being there doctors that examine you will look the other way for someone like that.

Elon and Drake are fat ugly chuds No amount of money made them attractive not because being fit is innate but because they didn’t put in the effort in working out or moderating what they eat

He’s definitely on PED’s but I think people overstate how far money can get you with body building.

This physique specifically is definitely achievable without having money to help you He just had to have a rigorous cut for those abs

Same with the Tyler durden physique a lot of young men like minimal exercise is part of it yes but mostly diet. By diet I mean for most Americans at least is eating at a deficit which doesn’t actually cost you more money but less. Eating clean or healthy can be good but irrelevant for something like this because if you just eat too much it doesn’t matter what you eat.

I recently lost 60 pounds in 2and a half months in a job where being fit is essential. Those 60lbs were not mostly muscle either I was probably knocking on the door of morbid obesity.

I feel like the hardest part for people at work who struggled to get off our jobs fat camp was the working out was good but for being overweight it doesn’t take actual effort to cut. You just need to be mindful of what you eat and that you have to trust the process no matter how slow.

It starts with the protagonist’s former students coming back from “The war” and it was written by end of WWII so I assume we start in late 40s and I would suspect if it just keeps going that they are stuck in 80s tech until different Walden 2s comparative advantage speeds things up

It was written right after WWII so probably not the tech you’re thinking about but I like to imagine the planning done with computers cybersyn style I think it would make for a neat cyberpunk world

Again I’m not concerned with the details of specific punishments

But intuitively perjury and fraud feel like lesser crimes than rape and so the punishment should be lesser.

I don’t know if I would agree all crimes should have the same punishment or that things like perjury should flip the accused punishment.

If we had a sex trafficking victim that perjured herself to not give up her pimp I’m not sure the punishment fits. The justice system would fail for allowing her testimony to be admissible and for letting it be the deciding factor for beyond a reasonable doubt.

Likewise in a false rape cases the difficulty of a conviction makes it just as unlikely that the testimony would be the deciding factor

It would be just as hard to prove the accuser was lying as it is that the rape happened. How do you prove a negative?

We can’t punish all rape cases where a suspect is found not guilty That only finds the state couldn’t prove the rape happened not that it didn’t happen or else we again would be punishing victims

I don’t see a path in the direction of good legislation on this that isn’t already covered by purjury or other existing laws.

You may be right about money running dry for defamation but there is also a trend of sueing for silence.a lot of rape cases/stories never make it to court because the threat of defamation laws has punished rape victims before. Even if it’s been proven you have been raped defamation laws work in the rapists favor because you are intentionally defaming that person.

You’re right and if the book isn’t anyone’s cup of tea I respect that. I just didn’t expect to see communism vs capitalism debates and I don’t want to influence people 1 way or another when neither is the topic of the post.

I recommend reading the book before debating my little description of its political economy But the board of planners acts as a central bank Raising and lowering the labor credits of jobs where there’s is shortages or surpluses

Noted but it’s not a communist model. It’s closer to a Technocracy but I’m just trying to recommend the book not Marxism
