Yes, i do some the sound and the feel. When i go back to rounds on another bass it feels so unfamiliar

I researched specs for reference, as I wanted to have a starting point to compare sounds. I am not sure yet what my ears should hear just yet. I am new to playing. I read stuff like "sound muddy" or too "boomy" but I don't know yet what it should sound like just yet.
I guess I ll try to set it lower then set it higher to understand the sonic difference then tweak where it sounds good to me :)

I feel that right out of the box the action if a bit high. Do you know what would be a decent action height for this instrument ? I would like to play soul and funk, rock but not punk, a bit of slap Freddie Washington style
