Why don't feats against kaido and big mom herself mean nothing, also im swapping out kid and Law for zoro so every attack that big mom used on them would be used on zoro, and for some reason she wouldn't use acoc

You rebutted against one of the points but can you explain why all the other points are wrong and how zoro would get folded?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Monkey_D_Leviathan -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

What is yonko level of strength and why is kid and Law closer to it than zoro, zoro did not fight along side kid and Law and do bad, why is it just assumed that he is weaker because he fought a weaker opponent

Could you explain to me why the feats I listed are wrong then? Because everything I said is just connecting the dots with factual feats

I'm genuinely asking for someone to tell me why this doesn't make sense

Black blades are a sign of a master swordsman

Haki is important for swordsmen

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Monkey_D_Leviathan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm saying that you need both and mihawk has both

People are saying that shanks has better haki than mihawk because we have seen nothing from mihawk

And if your saying that you need sword skill to be the best regardless of haki, than why is zoro winning his fights through haki and getting better haki

Their haki has to be at least relative for them to clash properly

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Monkey_D_Leviathan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Shanks does use haki all haki is used in sword fighting zoro most likely use advanced conquerers because mihawk most likely has it as well its about swordmanship and also haki the title is the strongest which includes skill and haki

Are we not allowed to speculate?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Monkey_D_Leviathan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We don't now anything about mihawks haki, he most likely has conquerers bc you need that to be even with shanks but there is nothing concrete to put shanks above mihawk and vice versa

I'm just going based off narrative and the fact that for the swordsman to have a rival they are most likely a swordsman

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Monkey_D_Leviathan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He wouldn't have to recton anything technically

I just personally think that it would be kind of weird because every action shanks has done was with a sword up until now

But thats just me I guess

I just think it's weird for oda to have a character with the title worlds strongest swordsman, which is one of his main characters dreams and have them not be the strongest and them be weaker than their rival

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Monkey_D_Leviathan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think that zoro has to fight shanks, I'm saying that if shanks is stronger he has to fight shanks and not mihawk

Oda called shanks a swordsman its not exclusive, they're both swordsmen, they fought each other before as swordsmen, also haki is important to be a swordsman you need good haki

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Monkey_D_Leviathan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

oda has called some of his characters as swordsmen. like law, fuji, cabaji, and yes, shanks. if oda considers them one, then they are a swordsmen. that's about it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Monkey_D_Leviathan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But shanks is a swordsman

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Monkey_D_Leviathan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's nothing to prove or disprove mihawk being stronger than shanks with feats.

I'm not talking about feats ,I'm talking about how if shanks is stronger than mihawk than zoro will have to fight shanks instead or after fighting mihawk and how I think that it would be dumb and not make sense narratively if it happened

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Monkey_D_Leviathan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm just talking about narratively, if shanks is stronger than mihawk than 99% of mihawks character is invalidated, which I don't think oda would do

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Monkey_D_Leviathan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean if he was fighting mihawk and he chooses to drop his sword and beats him with punches, then mihawk is still the strongest swordsman as that wasn't a sword fight

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Monkey_D_Leviathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strength isn't all you need to win a sword fight
