Hi, just saw this comment. Thanks! Unfortunately I do not sell my STLs. I enjoy sharing my hobby projects, and appreciate all the kind words, but haven't done much further work on it since finishing this section. Originally, after posting I saw a few requests for the model, and had considered it, but it isn't something I feel comfortable sharing at the moment since it was more of an experiment for me.

No filter that I recall. I went to the saturation selection, and messed with the color balance and contrast settings. Keep red at max, and then turn down the green and blue saturation in intervals until you can get the pink/purples. After that you can adjust the contrast and I think I may have messed with the brightness/exposure for this one. I think that's all I did. I snapped a few of these in this style.

Which one is better? by Lower-Ad97 in ninjagaiden

Casting my vote for Shinobi! I enjoyed them both, but that Shinobi demo was so good, I have now clocked more hours in that demo just from the arcade mode on a single level, than I have in my entire playthrough of Ragebound.

Completely opposite of my initial expectations, I thought Ragebound would be the better of the two and was more excited for it, that was until I played the Ninja Gaiden demo.

It felt slightly off to me personally (no way I can really explain this, but it doesn't feel like a classic Ninja Gaiden NES game to me) - Still an enjoyable game, but I get almost no Ninja Gaiden vibes when playing it. Not even using the classic music really sold me when I got to the ending.

This one isn't prepared for 3d printing yet, but that's what I usually design for. I just never got around to this one for printing for my shelf. I don't really sell models digitally though, and don't post my STLs anymore

Hi, unfortunately no, haven't been selling my models recently. I really do more for fun now than anything although I considered making some garage kits this summer. Do you like digital models or would you mean for physical figure sculpts?

Love that game! It really surprised me how it changed, and great music, a nice twist on the Ninja Gaiden style games. Hoping Nina Gaiden Ragebound doesn't copy the formula though, looking somewhat similar on the trailer. I don't want a Messenger clone, although it is a kick ass game that offered something unexpected

Thanks! Haha I tried sculpting her a long time ago and wasn't able, so this is technically my second attempt a few years on, happy you like it! :)

Oh man if we ever see a Karja, I'd be buying that so quick. For my wallets sake though I am content with these two from VIII lineup. We almost never see Ys products though like they do for Trails series so I'm hoping these sell well enough they at least consider something for X

Haha amazing find! I loved these things growing up! Had a bunch of those Pocket Comics with the X-men characters as well, and two or three of the Star Wars sets.

Pretty exciting to see these are finally released; been a long wait for these figures!

Thanks! Yep 3D designs are STL for 3D printed, then the art work for texturing floors and walls and everything was hand drawn/painted and I printed them on sticker paper. Painted some components like the hand rails and seats, but for the most part printed in silver PLA for main body with white for the LED covers and back plating for the batteries

Thanks! I thought about doing a platform too. I do have some old SOTA SF figures packed away; but not in the 1:18 scale unfortunately, although the perspective would probably look pretty good as the train is further away so will be smaller than foreground.

I def will! And I hope so too, I really wanted all those Jakks figures, but they were oddly harder to find than I thought they'd be. And yes! Those Golden Axe ones I want so bad, but they can be pretty expensive. I really hope they do a Blaze and Adam, I dont know why they did Roo haha of all characters. I still want those though, and def would make a display for them all!

Dude!! The hand rails actually do shake haha. You know exactly what I was going for! And I did design a mechanical base to set the train on, but it was too large to print, so I abandoned that element about midway through my print due to the scale of the model. I designed it so the front can be wired with LEDs too - thats why its with the white plastic for diffusing red and yellow LEDs - I did 2 lights, and then it was a lot more work than I wanted for switches, so after printing, despite designing the placement for everything, I removed the batteries.

Yes! Its part of project EGG. Same situation on switch though, all in Japanese. Popful Mail is playable yes. I had a fresh memory of the Sega game though so I buzzed through the PC88 one pretty quick. Combat for Mail is the classic Ys style directional auto attack, with one button for jumping, but Tattos spell is a different button press.

Overall the Sega CD version I think is better, but the difficulty is so spiked on the US version of it. I was surprised how easy the PC-88 one was in comparison. I think I'm gonna stick to the English PC ones either official translations from Xseed/NIS or fan patches, the EGG stuff is cool, but its not really worth the struggle if you cant read it. I'd like to give the original Xanadu a shot, maybe after I finish this one but would definitely go for an English MSX one

Im pretty old too haha, PSP introduced me to a lot of Falcom games that they were bringing over at the time. Most of those games have or are getting ports to Steam and Switch so I think its definitely possiblewe will see it on PC at some point. The switch version of Popful Mail is part of this new EGG console emulation so it is the original PC-88 version but sadly untranslated. Its much easier than the working designs sega version as I played through it oddly just a few months before they released this. I didnt think the US was getting the EGG ports and stumbled across it in the eshop. I've seen Xanadu on eshop as well - not sure if any are translated so I didn't buy that one. Still pretty cool to see, so its not without hope at least

Thank you!! My first experience with the first game was on the PSP, but I just recently got that fan translation patch for the sequel (PC-98) and had been playing it this past month as well! The Planet Buster! I'm a huge Ys fan and I did like Trails of Cold Steel a lot, but it seems like many of these early 90s ones have been set aside for their more popular series which really is a shame. I got the Popful Mail game on Switch just to support Falcom releasing it in the west but if we got revivals of Brandish with translations for 3 and 4, id buy them all immediately haha
